"Chad was great. Responded immediately to my request for a quote. He came when he was scheduled and got right to work. We had to rehang existing gutters that were removed when the roof was replaced. Would completely recommend Chad. I dont know if hes the owner, but a super nice and efficient worker! Thank you"

"The ECS Team was outstanding, priced right and extremely professional. The removed and replaced 8 large drain gutters on our commercial building, and also replaced drain scuppers on our foam roof which had deteriorated and were completely rusted. The attention to detail on the job estimated help us plan and budget the repairs, no surprises. They completed the job in 1 trip to the site same day, and cleaned their area. This is the 3rd building ECS has completed work on and continues to do awesome work."

"Zach and his team were professional, efficient and provided excellent craftsmanship, surpassing my expectations. We received several bids from others and quickly recognized the integrity and commitment he brings to all aspects of his work. Gutters were installed seamlessly and are very aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend Zach and Grizzly Gutters over the chain companies that don't recognize individual service needs."

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

Most homes will sustain water damage without gutters. When a home doesn't have gutters, water that runs off the roof will splash down to the ground to create foundation damage, rotting trim, rotting fascia, and soil erosion. A broken or compromised gutter system can be just as damaging as having no gutters. That's why it's essential to talk to roofing pros about how to fix gutters pulling away from house as soon as you notice an issue.

Yes, it is okay to knock down icicles yourself. Just make sure to take the proper safety precautions. If you’re not comfortable doing it yourself, contact a roofing professional.

How you stop water from leaking between your gutters and fascia depends on the cause of the leak. Some leaks can be fixed simply by cleaning out clogged gutters or downspouts. Other leaks require you to seal holes or cracks in your gutters. Meanwhile, some leaks are a structural issue that requires replacing, changing, or adjusting your gutter system.

Yes, professionals can repair or replace sections with seamless copper for better durability.

Gutter repair costs around $400 on average, and prices range from $200 up to $650 in most cases. You can expect to pay between $4 and $30 per linear foot. The best way to get an accurate estimate is to have a professional come out to price your project. Some factors that influence your total include the following:

  • Number of linear feet of gutter to repair

  • Gutter style

  • Gutter material

  • Accessibility of the gutters

  • Whether you have seamless or seamed gutters
