"A young guy came out and looked at my roof.  He was only up there a short time.  He came down and informed me that I need a new roof.  He also informed that he sealed areas that needed it.  I found it odd that he would not make eye contact with me. I had another company come out the same day.  They said I do not need a new roof and no one had sealed anything on my roof.  The roof is only 3 years old and the 2nd company that came out said this is completey repairable."

"They showed up when they said they would be here and they completed the work a week ahead of time. They delivered everything they promised We had sunscreens put on all of our sun exposed windows and it has already made a big difference in temperature. We also had them install seamless rain gutters and they look great."

"Michael is our go to person for the vast majority of our home repair needs. His very wide knowledge and experience are of inestimable worth. On this occasion, he responded very quickly to our need for repair of a heavy glass shower door that came off track. He knew exactly what to do and did the work. He was also willing to refer us to a company that does shower door installations if we want to change to a newer, more reliable design/product."

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

Leaks, corrosion, sagging sections, and loose fasteners are common problems that need fixing.

Snow and ice can both accumulate on the top of a metal roof and slide off as the weight of the snow increases or as the snow and ice melt. This can rip the gutters off your roof and damage the gutters or the roof if you don’t take preventative measures. Snow guards are one of the easiest methods for helping to prevent snow accumulation on your metal roof from damaging your gutters.

In most cases, it makes more sense to repair leaking or damaged gutters than it will to replace them. You’ll spend an average of $400 to repair your gutters, while full replacement will cost around $2,000 or more, depending on the gutter material and style and the size of your home. If your gutters are nearing the end of their lifespan—usually around 20 years for aluminum or vinyl gutters or up to 50 years for copper or steel—then it might make sense to replace them, as it could cost you less in the long run.

Regular cleaning, checking for leaks, and ensuring that downspouts direct water away from the foundation help prolong gutter life.

Minor repairs like sealing small leaks or cleaning debris are DIY-friendly, but professional repairs ensure long-term stability and proper drainage.
