"We bought a ranch house last year and began a complete renovation project. We had many contractors involved in this and we enlisted David Lujan and L&L Kitchens (based on a referral from our flooring contractor who had nothing but glowing comments about L&L). With so many moving parts we had to manage delays throughout the process, with the exception of L&L. David worked with my wife on the cabinet selections, cabinet lighting, and granite countertops for the kitchen, all bathrooms, and the laundry room. They arrived on the dates they said they would, the installers were very professional and friendly, and clearly they take great pride in their work. Working with David was so easy I now consider him a friend. In fact, I had 2 of my contractors comment that the quality was so nice that L&L would now be their â referralâ for cabinets and counters. We are extremely pleased with our cabinets and whole-heartedly recommend David and the L&L team!"

"Russ added some cabinets in our kitchen. He was the only contractor that found the wood that matched our existing doors. He always kept us up to date on his progress. The workmanship was excellent and the installation seemless. Russ was courteous and professional. I would highly recommend him."

"The Re-New crew did a great job converting our tired kitchen from contractor grade cabinets to a showcase home kitchen. They built a matching movable kitchen island and an entertainment storage center to tie our living areas together. Every day before leaving they cleaned up allowing us to use the kitchen. When we upgrade our bathrooms, Re-New cabinets will be the cabinet providers."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Daniel, a contractor who exceeded all my expectations. He completed my kitchen backsplash, installed a bathroom vanity, and repaired a drywall seam between my living room and kitchen. Each task was executed with precision and attention to detail, showcasing his exceptional craftsmanship. Daniel's professionalism and commitment to quality were evident from start to finish. He was punctual, communicated clearly, and left the workspace immaculate every day. The kitchen backsplash looks stunning, the bathroom vanity is flawlessly installed, and the drywall repair is seamless—it's like the damage was never there. If you're considering hiring a contractor, I highly recommend Daniel. You won't be disappointed. We are moving into a turn-key home, but we will definitely retain Daniel's contact information for any future projects. Thank you, Daniel, for your outstanding work and dedication to being apart of helping us sell our home!"

Cabinet Contractors questions, answered by experts

To estimate the cost of your kitchen cabinet installation, measure along the wall where you want your cabinets to be. Add up the linear feet, remembering to include both upper cabinets and lower cabinets in your total. Then, calculate the cost by multiplying the average price per linear foot of the type of cabinet you plan to install by the total length you measured.

You can stack upper kitchen cabinets, but they may not fit neatly. Because upper kitchen cabinets are typically available in these standard sizes—12, 15, 18, 24, 30, 36, and 42 inches—you can stack various-sized upper cabinets. But, depending on your ceiling height, these standard sizes may not work together. That’s why smaller stacked cabinets are a much more stylish and economical choice.

Yes, you can replace the cabinet hardware after installation to change up the look of your cabinets. Replacing the hinges, handles, pulls, and knobs allows you the design flexibility to match your other appliances or finish schemes to your liking. Talk with your kitchen designer or cabinet installer about the best hardware option for your cabinets.

If there is only a small mold problem, then you might be able to remove it and save the kitchen cabinets by acting fast. However, if the mold is severe, has spread to other parts of your kitchen or home, or is impacting sensitive family members, then you should replace the cabinets. A kitchen cabinet installation costs between $2,000 and $11,100, or $6,400 on average.

Make sure your shelves are no more than 12 inches deep. Any deeper and it will become hard to access items towards the back of the shelf. Yet, for larger walk-in pantries, homeowners may prefer 15- to 18-inch shelving to make room for larger appliances and cookware.
