"Salesperson, Cully was very helpful start to finish, from giving us bids on interior finishes (plaster, pebble tec, pebble sheen), to cap and water line tile selection and was always available by phone with any questions or concerns we had. Jesse and crew began demolition of old plaster, cap/water line tile on January 20th and were finished with new interior on February 3rd. New pool equipment and light in place as well. Following week, Les their pool technician, came out and programmed Easy Touch panel to control pump, light, and sheer descents. Everyone at Tribal Waters, from sales person (Cully), to demo/plaster/tile crew (Jesse and team), plumbers, electricians, and pool technician (Les) did a great job. Would highly recommend them to anyone considering a pool remodel."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.

To hire a land surveyor, you need to start by searching online for reputable professionals in your area. Here are a few steps to take when making a shortlist:

  • Browse land surveyor service website

  • Check credentials

  • Read customer reviews

  • Find their contact information

  • Call or email to inquire about more information

  • Ask how far they travel, if you’re some distance away

  • Find out how they charge for their services

  • Ask about schedule and turnaround times

  • Repeat these steps for one to two other services and compare pricing

Depending on the type of land survey, the report will mark the boundaries of your property, the topographical changes of the landscape, as well as major natural and added structures to the plot. A more detailed survey, like an as-built survey, will note the measurements of the structures and landscape following major construction. A topographic survey will also help your contractor determine the cost of land development projects.

New constructions, renovations, and interior layouts benefit from expert drafting.
