"Cody with Duck Duct Cleaning was awesome. We hired him to clean our dryer vent and he went way above and beyond cleaning built up lint out of the dryer itself. Highly recommended pro."

"Very well! He's very personable and arrived on time. He cleaned our ducts that hadn't been cleaned since our house was built - we could smell dust when the heat went on. He sprayed Microban 24-hour in the ducts and the whole house smells wonderful! He's ressonably priced, also."

"After waking up to a flooded closet/bathroom I cold called Wills All Pro. They sent a tech (Brandon) out within a couple hours and he quickly identified the issue. It was not an easy fix but he explained everything to me, step by step and the next day, he and David (apprentice) came out and completed the repairs. The were professional, courteous, and very clean. They even cleaned up some of the mess that I made prior to calling them. The prices are reasonable and a la carte. My wife and I highly recommend Wills All Pro and will be passing along their information to our friends!"

"Simply the best in the biz. They came out next day for a free quote and got the job done right then and there. Clean dryer vents (first time ever), and planning on coming back next year for the same thing."

Air Duct Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Return air ducts should generally not be installed in rooms with high humidity, contaminants, or strong odors. This includes bathrooms, kitchens, garages, closets, attics, and furnace or boiler rooms. Placing vents in these areas can draw moisture, fumes, odors, and potentially hazardous gases like carbon monoxide into your HVAC system, which can damage ductwork, promote mold growth, and compromise your home's indoor air quality and safety. According to the International Code Council, there are some exceptions. For example, a return duct may be placed in a kitchen if it is at least 10 feet away from cooking appliances and serves only that room. Similarly, a garage can have a return duct if it is part of a dedicated forced-air system that only serves the garage. For optimal performance, prioritize installing return air vents in central locations and rooms with consistent temperature needs, such as bedrooms and living spaces. If you are unsure, consult a professional duct installer for guidance.

Ozone smoke removal uses an ozone generator to eliminate stubborn odors from sources like house fires, wildfires, or cigarette smoke. Ozone (O3) is a highly reactive and unstable gas that effectively neutralizes smoke odors through a process called oxidation. It 'donates' its extra oxygen molecule to the organic compounds causing the smell, altering their structure and eliminating the odor, with oxygen being the primary byproduct. This method can be effective on building materials and furniture. However, because improper use of an ozone generator can be dangerous to your health, this treatment is best left to a professional.

A DIY duct leakage test should be part of your annual home maintenance routine. Conducting this test annually allows you to identify and promptly address new leaks. Regular testing helps maintain the efficiency of your HVAC system, reduce energy costs, and ensure a healthier indoor environment by preventing leaks from going undetected for extended periods.

The cost depends on the exact task. Overall, AC tuneups cost $70 to $150 on average. Filter replacement, which is one of the most important HVAC maintenance tasks, costs anywhere from $5 to $20 per filter on average. Refrigerant replacement costs $125 on average. Coil cleaning costs $100 to $400.

If your ducts are relatively free from significant damage, mold, or excessive debris, the benefit of air duct cleaning is that it can address many common issues. Dust, allergens, and particles can accumulate in your ducts, affecting air quality and the efficiency of your HVAC system. Cleaning your ducts can help you restore optimal airflow and remove pollutants that might be circulating in your home.

However, cleaning might not be the best solution if your ducts have severe damage, leaks, or are significantly outdated. In these cases, replacement might be necessary to ensure proper functioning and prevent future problems.
