"This is a story sad but true of a company that has very good work but very bad business practices This begins in September of 2021 An estimator is sent to survey damage done by a roof leak due to a Solar installation On this visit, the estimator without authorization attempted to fix an issue The problem as was always suspected was part of a Solar panel installation and not even close to the problem area, again this was not authorized The estimator spent roughly 45 minutes for his activity and arrived late even though it was clearly communicated my sister-in-law worked nights and was asleep, there were 2 guests here, but they would authorize; this was presented as a favor - to attempt to stop further leakage Now to current time, on March 16th, 2022 I have resolved my roof issues with Reimagine Roofing - recommended Jim the representative for Silver City comes to inspect the work and close our business and I am presented with 2 invoices, 1 for the ceiling repair and 1 for what i have no idea It came to be that 1 as for the ceiling and 1 the additional charges were for the attempted unauthorized repair which didn’t do anything anyway Those charges were 586.46 - during an estimate appointment for insurance purposes this amounts to $13 a minute i will add that if you have any interaction them, they or their representative's do understand payment options using current electronic/computerized systems, like Zoelle or simple BillPay"

They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

You can use either paint thinner or mineral spirits to clean paint brushes, but both have distinct advantages. Paint thinners are better solvents, making them a good option if you need to clean your brushes quickly or if you are dealing with dried paint, which mineral spirits can’t remove. On the other hand, mineral spirits have less toxicity, less odor, and lower volatility. It is safer to use indoors and doesn’t evaporate as quickly if you need to leave the brushes to soak.

Yes, you can absolutely paint a wall that has skip trowel texture, but you need to make sure you have the right tools and use the appropriate strategies. First, make sure you buy a high-capacity roller with at least a ¾” nap. This type of roller will hold enough paint to make application easy, and the thick nap is more likely to apply paint over the peaks and valleys. Additionally, you can’t tape a textured wall, so paint any untextured walls or ceilings first, then tape the smooth surfaces and paint the skip trowel walls last.

You can’t paint a foundation like you would the walls in your home; there are a few extra important steps to take. Instead of just busting out the paint, you should clean the surface and fix any impurities before grabbing the brush. Using a paint sprayer to apply sealant and primer will ensure you have the perfect canvas to apply your chosen paint color.

You technically can paint wires in a basement ceiling, but there are several important safety and code considerations. It's safe to paint non-metallic sheathed cable as long as the labeling remains visible. You can also paint low-voltage wires and conduit and junction boxes to help them blend into your basement. 

However, you should not paint damaged or deteriorated wiring is a fire hazard because it poses a fire hazard. The same goes for painting over high-heat wires that connect to heat-generating appliances or systems. Be sure to avoid painting multiple coats onto any wires, as that traps heat and poses fire risks.

Streaky trim paint can result from several factors, including improper application techniques and insufficient coats. If you use a brush too large or damaged, you’re more likely to get uneven coverage. Using the wrong paint for the surface can also mean it’s not opaque enough to get the right coverage and a smooth finish. Remember to keep drying times in mind if you’re doing multiple coats. Make sure the bottom layer is completely dry before adding another layer. Otherwise, the brush and drag and clump the different paint textures, leading to a streaky, bumpy mess.
