"Quentin and his crew at Q2 are - in all honesty - LIFESAVERS. We have used them twice in the last 6 months moving my elderly father out of his house so we could get it sold, and then moving his remaining furniture and personal items into assisted living. Not only were they readily available to us both times (literally at the drop of a hat), they helped us locate a very nice electric hospital bed after we⠠d exhausted all other avenues. Not only did they connect us with the vendor, they took additional time out of their schedule to retrieve, transport, and fully assemble that (very heavy) bed into my father⠠s new room. We were so grateful for all of their efforts, we chose to double that bed⠠s very reasonable delivery fee and double-tip each of the guys! Quentin is now a permanent contact in my cell phone. We will most definitely be using Q2 Hauling again in the future. This company is a true example of not only putting their clients⠠needs first, they actually elevate that client up onto a pedestal! They are the real deal. Look no further! Thank you so very much, Q2 Hauling! ⠤︠Steve and Kristin Linn"

"I needed a severely damaged couch removed from my apartment. They were on the phone within a few minutes and had it removed the same day. Also, they gave me a reasonable price and they did all the work. I highly recommend them!"

"Powerhouse Hauling was amazing! I spoke with Jason around 12, and he came by at 3 to give me an estimate for hauling off some old furniture and assorted items after a recent move. Within 20 minutes, our patio was clear! We are so grateful! It’s a breath of fresh air to be able to use our patio again! Thank you, Powerhouse— y’all are definitely true to your name!"

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Disposing of old paint, bleach, oil, and fertilizer should be handled by a company that specializes in this kind of waste. Many private junk removal companies do not dispose of these items. Because these materials are hazardous to the environment and dangerous to handle or dispose of improperly, you should confirm with your local municipality about places to take hazardous materials for safe disposal.

If your trash does not get picked up, it could be due to a handful of reasons. The main reasons why trash does not get picked up are because it is improperly sorted, overweight or oversized, or access to the trash is blocked due to things like parked cars or fallen branches.

They provide efficient waste disposal, comply with local regulations, and handle large debris safely, reducing environmental hazards.

Several types of items aren't allowed in roll-off dumpsters. First of all, hazardous materials and hazardous liquids are a no-go. This includes asbestos, oil, wet paint and other materials. Other banned items include batteries, electronics with lithium batteries, propane tanks, tires, and appliances with refrigerants. Some areas have shifting requirements (for instance, certain locations do not allow mattresses), so check with your local regulatory agency.

Products that are hazardous, such as aerosol sprays, top the list of what to leave behind during a move. Avoid packing perishables, garden and garage chemicals, pool supplies, compressed gases, and combustible items. If you are trying to move by yourself, you may want to downsize so you have fewer belongings to pack and move (and then unpack).
