Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. "I knew that I was going to need very good help with this water heater replacement. The old one was 22 years old and had a lot of sediment in it. Also the location was difficult to get to. Jack sheduled the appointment to fit my schedule. Brad and Mickey arrived promptly and tackled the situation. As expected, the drain was clogged and the tank was way too heavy to lift out without draining. When using air pressure failed, they pulled out a shop vac, jerry-rigged a small hose on the end and slowly suck out enough water to allow the tank to be lifted out. They're one of the best crews I've ever had working for me. I have my mechanic, my electrician, and now I have my plumbers. I'll never use anyone else and I highly recommend them."

You may need to check the filter, hose, air gap, and garbage disposal for clogs if it still doesn't drain. If the problem persists and there is no visible clog, a professional will need to assess and fix the problem for you.

When deciding whether to repair or replace your dishwasher, you must consider its age and the repair cost. If your dishwasher is more than eight years old, replace it to avoid additional repairs in the near future. Similarly, if you need multiple repairs over a short time, consider purchasing a new one altogether, depending on its warranty. It’s best to repair your dishwasher when the fix cost is less than 50% of the cost of a new dishwasher, provided it is less than eight years old.

Many homeowners wonder if a garbage disposal is necessary with a dishwasher. After all, many dishwashers are powerful enough to handle bits of food with no issues.
