"I hardly ever leave reviews, but this is exceptional, and people need to know how they treat their customers. I like to get IV hydration once a week, so I’ve been going to germantown day spa while in Germantown doing some film work. The first sessions were fine, but I went in one day with a different nurse and it was anything but fine, because I was stuck 6 times while she tried to put the catheter in veins sitting on top of tendons and was sticking my tendons instead. Even after I told her it wouldn’t work there, because other nurses have said so, she said “I’ve been a nurse for 15 years, and I’m going to try that one.” Well she tried it, and she sure thought it was in when she started the saline drip, sending the fluids into my skin causing my arm to swell up. After saying “I don’t know what wrong with me today,” She stuck me 3 more times, before rebooking me with a half off session. Well that’s where it really gets bad and HIPPA violations come in, because I get a call from the owner saying they’re canceling my appointments and no longer honoring the rebooked session, because the nurses had told the staff they weren’t comfortable treating me anymore after I said I was going to do hydration drips at home. First the nurse said she gives hydration drips to her husband at home all the time, and second, my neighbors are nurses and doctors so yes, I was considering it. And I know it wasn’t “nurses,” it was a nurse that goes around the spa and talks about her patients to non medical staff about her sessions in which a complaint has been filed to HHS. I told the owner this, and she starts this whole dramatic scene raising her voice saying “how dare you threaten me etc” when I’ve never made a threat in my life. So if she thinks that violating patients rights and them standing against it is a threat, then she’s going to think a nuclear attack is being launched when OCR investigates. Here’s my arm immediately after, this doesn’t even show the bruising I had for days after."
