Kevin came out, made measurements, sent me a contract (which stipulated 1/2 down payment, with the remainder due upon installation) and installed my windows approximately 2-3 weeks after the measurements were taken.
Due to bad weather, I missed my initial install date but they kept calling to get me in and get this job done. My screens are thick and keep out a lot of heat. I should see a real saving on my cooling costs in the summer when the sun is brightest, not to mention cooler temperatures in the upstairs where the air is normally kept off. I also love the privacy factor in having a darker set of screens on the house. They look fantastic!

"In June of 2011 we did work on the member's window. this post is the first we have heard of her being unhappy. we did attempt to repair one window with an operable window guard, because some one else had screwed the window shut at some point we were unable to make that window operate properly, we moved her window guard to another window, in the same room. she now has an operable window guard on an operable window. our job minimum is 200.00. she was aware of this when she signed the contract. upon completion she paid for our work without complaint."

This company has been in business in Memphis and been owned and managed by the same family for many years. Kevin Croom, the owner's son, now manages the business. He and his wife Danielle are very professional and dealt directly with us on all aspects of the contract. Gave a quote on both double hung ( My original request ) and single hung. Went over the pros and cons and suggested that single hung would be more than adequate for this house and saved us $450.
Installation was done by a father and son team that had worked for him many years.
Everything was finished in one day and turned out just as he said . We are extremely pleased.

I called several window companies and received a few different estimates. I was most pleased with American Screen Door, because of the level of service I was given, and the final quote. I had estimates from other companies that were cheaper, but I could tell the quality of the windows were not as good as what I would get from American Screen Door. Everything from the estimate to the final installation was great. They were very professional, and the windows were better than I expected. The windows they sell are are a great quality, and I did notice an improvement on my power bills. I would definitely get them to install more windows for me if I ever need them, and I recommend them to anybody looking to buy windows.

American Screen and Door did a very good job putting in our new windows. Our house was built in 1905 and the windows that we had were painted shut. The new windows are beautiful and make a very big difference in the way our house looks.
