After only a month, I had to have someone come in and recaulk. It took a LOT of caulk for the big gaps. Yes, there was mold. Then, two years later, yet another issue. We noticed a squishing sound in the hall, then water started coming up between the floorboards. It took a plumber two trips (and a week of using no water in that end of the house - no dishwasher, kitchen sink, laundry, or bathroom) so the floors could dry and he could find the source of the water. Turns out, the shower drain was not properly installed, or perhaps it had worked itself loose with the flimsy bendable pan. Water was draining between the concrete slab and our pvc laminate flooring. Yes, I am upset. I am so sorry I allowed Bath Planet anywhere near my house."

"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here.
