Schalco Garage Doors

They worked on an issue of door adjustment then came and gave estimate on openers, worked with our schedule to install. Very nice, helpful and professional. It was a seamless process from the ladies in the office explaining and showing the options that would be best for us, to the guys finishing a job well done!

They were out the same day. They were able to set tension and realign door without any parts and charge was very reasonable!

At first, they came out to do a temporary fix to our door. We thought we were going to have to wait a couple weeks for our new door, since they were so busy. We were pleasantly surprised when we received a call a few days later asking if we'd like to have our door installed on Saturday. Some of their guys were wanting the over time. Of course we said yes. After they left, we noticed a dent in the door. We called on Monday morning and they came right out to take care of it. We were very pleased with their attentiveness and professionalism.

Great! Our garage has an odd shaped roof. It was a difficult job, but the employee was so knowledgeable he was able to make the job possible. Also got a belt drive opener. So quiet now when it opens, also we can control the door with our iPhones. Very pleased with the job!

Professional. Had a temporary fix within 45 minutes. Finished work the next week after the proper spring arrived, then billed us less than initial estimate.

Ok, these are nice guys, and know garage door well, the bill charge is reasonable, and I will recommend them to people that I know. Good job!

We received several quotes from local contractors and also priced doors and openers at Lowe's and Menard's plus contractor installation. Schalco's total price for door, opener, and installation was the best deal. Mandy was knowledgable if the options and pricing.  The door we wanted had to be ordered and two two weeks to arrive. Door and opener were installed and the old door was hauled away.  
    Service and quality of work was excellent.

Also years ago we had a lightning strike on our house which damaged many electrical appliances, tvs, furnace, and our garage door opener. We went to their Newburgh office and told them what happened and they told us to try resetting the opener which worked. (They told us how to do it) We thought we probably needed a new garage door opener and with their advise it didn't cost us anything. Nice people!

Both Service Technicians and the woman that I talked to on the phone were very polite and did a very professional job repairing the broken spring and cable on my garage door.

We were extremely satisfied with the selection of garage doors and garage door openers at their showroom and selected the most insulated model door they sold with double insulated windows. We selected a belt-drive opener which is very quiet. The installers arrived on-time and completed the work quicker than expected. The installers were very courteous and professional.

It went well. The technician had a hard time with replacing the seal on the door, but finally got it to work. Installing the opener proved to be a bit challenging. The rafters in the garage had to be chiseled out some. This was done with great care an precision. The technician was personable and knowledgeable.

Had a small glitch at the beginning with getting them out to my house, but everything went so smoothly afterward, it was worth calling them twice. My garage door would not close all the way. The repairman called and told me what was wrong with the door and also noticed that my other garage door wasn't working. I gave him permission to go ahead and work on the other door which he did. They had to come out twice because of parts, but the original problem door was working after the first visit. Both of my garage doors work now. I received a detailed invoice through the mail about a week after service. Honestly, I expected my bill to be more for the work that was done. Satisfied customer!

Anita from Schalco was very personable, yet professional around the work that I needed done on my Owensboro rental property. They preformed the work on the date specified and even came in under budget. they also provided new trim on the outside to accent the new door.
As the electric was turned off during thier installation, a problem was discovered when it was turned back on that could not have been discovered during installation. the automated door opener was causing a cable to to scratch the new flashing. They promotely scheduled a date for thier workmen to come and fix the issue.

This company provided excellent service. My husband was in the hospital when the spring broke...I called and they were out the same day with a temporary fix. Returned a couple of days later to complete repairs and billed all services.
