"I had a booger of a job because of the type of hot water tank that had to be replaced; but the installation went well. Jim did a great job and was very thorough. He also provided a great deal of needed information. After finishing the job, he informed me of a rebate that i would be getting...what a nice surprise! I highly recommend Jim and Coleson Plumbing and will be using them again."

"Dennis and his team said our pipes appeared to be in good shape and suggested a good cleaning first to see if that would fix our draining problems. They were right and they saved us a lot of $$ and our drain is working fantastic now. I would highly recommend D & G Plumbing for their integrity and quality service! I will absolutely be calling them again for all of my future plumbing needs."

"I am so excited and pleased with the work they did for me. They dug the ditch, installed the regulator and laid over 450 feet of pex waterline to get public water established. Very professional, efficient and got it all done in one day!! I've not had any problems or leaks and my water pressure is wonderful. Will use again and highly recommend."

"I'm a repeat customer.  Meeks has been performing this service over the past 20 plus years. Called to schedule a normal 5 year service.  They arrived on time and completed the work.  I had concern the lid might be damaged since the ground has settled significantly in the last few months.  They checked all the lid sections were intact and confirmed there was no damage.

"I wanted to put N//A FOR THE FIRST ANSWER BECAUSE I AM STILL TRYING TO REACH THEM TO COMPLETE THE JOB. HE LOOKED AT IT AND SAID HE WOULD BE BACK AFTER ORDERING A SMALL PART FOR THE SINK FAUCET BUT THAT WAS OVER A MONTH AGO AND I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING . I HAD HOPED TO GET IT DONE PRIOR TO THANKSGIVING AND NOW I AM APPROACHING CHRISTMAS

Update:
A different plumber came out when the part finally arrived. The new plummer discovered that the wrong part had been ordered. However, the second plumber also realized that no part was needed. He fixed the entire problem was a little extra elbow. The job was completed by the second plumber in less then 5 minutes. This was outstanding work by the second plumber. We gave the company an overall "C "since we would have been spared a lot of time and discomfort had the second plumber been sent out the first time."

"Mr Webb's work is very good and my wife and I are very pleased with his work, cost and work time.  We have used Complete Home Repair for several small repairs this year and have always been very pleased.  He shows up when he says he will and gets the job done.  So when we planned this latest project, we did not hesitate to call them and in fact did not even think about any one else.
We have in mind some other projects around here and will certainly call them first.  We found Complete Home Repair on Angie's list and have even found others for HVAC etc.

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

There’s no definitive answer regarding whether equipping your kitchen island with a stove or sink is better. The right option depends on each homeowner's lifestyle, cooking style, and kitchen layout. If you cook with guests over, having a stove that faces outward can facilitate socialization while you prepare dinner. On the other hand, if you use a lot of produce, having your sink by your prep area makes it easier to clean veggies while cooking. A sink also makes cleanup easier by allowing you to wipe down your prep area and place your dirty dishes in the sink.

Basic replacements can be done DIY, but professional services ensure proper sealing, leak prevention, and plumbing adjustments.

Hiring an emergency plumber is expensive because of the urgency and inconvenience, but there are a few things you can do to help keep costs down:

  • Minimize water damage by shutting off your water main

  • Clean up pooling water immediately to reduce damage and mold growth

  • Avoid using fixtures if you have a clog or septic system backup

  • Verify that your plumber is licensed before hiring

  • Call a few plumbers for estimates if you can afford a short delay in getting service

Emergency plumbers charge a significantly higher rate than for standard service, typically 1.5 to 3 times the normal hourly cost. You can expect to pay between $100 and $500 per hour, with an average of around $200 per hour. In addition to the higher hourly rate, many plumbers charge a flat emergency service or trip fee, which can be between $150 and $300. The final cost depends on the timing of the call; prices are highest for major holidays, followed by weekends and after-hours service on weekdays. For a complex job on a major holiday, a master plumber's rate could reach as high as $600 per hour.
