Started out o k. Did a fair job painting other than being so messy- got paint and putty on floors,furniture,appliances,etc. and they didn’t finish. The electrician they used did o k. Started fillin in swimming pool,got about 1/5 of it filled in and left and never came back. The day they left, august 19, we paid them $ 2,200. They said they be back the next day. We haven’t seen or heard from them since. Very disappointed in Hopson’s handyman services. If you are foolish enough to do business with these people please don’t pay them until they do the work! We hope nobody else is taken in and lose as much $ as we did.

All jobs that Jason has performed have been exactly as we discussed. He is trustworthy and shows up when he says he will. On numerous occasions, I have left keys for him to perform work when I was not at home and have no reservations about it. He is prompt returning calls and stands behind his work.

Jason Hopson and Team did an exceptional job—-the best work quality I have experienced in 35 years and the most reasonable prices. He does what he says at the price he says period! He his the total skill set to build a house from the ground up. No one has skills like his. Nobody. I was having a heck of a time getting my back french doors rebuilt as a lot of the wood had rotted. These are custom doors. They could not be bought off the shelf. Nobody in Mobile AL had the carpentry skills to rebuild the french doors. Jason and team came down from Birmingham and did the job and now I get nothing but compliments on how beautiful they look. He also rebuilt our brick mailbox, the front porch columns, the fence, the front door, remodeled the kitchen and bathroom; replaced lighting, installed kitchen appliances, painted the interior and repaired the drywall. When hurricane Sally hit, he and hus team came back down from Birmingham to clear the huge fallen trees from my yard and roof, repair the roof, rebuilt the fence and gate, installed gutters and a french drain. Hopson and team did an outstanding job both times to the point he is now the Go To Man for any project I have. He is always on time, dependable, reliable, trustworthy and loaded with expertise. He is the ONLY one I trust with my projects big or small. I rate “A++”

Built and wired a storage building, installation of a 2 light front door and screen, build and covered the front deck.

From the estimate we received to the finished product everything went smoothly and turned out exactly as I wanted. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Jason was wonderful. He answered my initial call promptly, we arranged a mutually convenient time and he worked our smaller job in between several other jobs that he was on. He was very reasonable, the carpentry was perfect and he was able to finish the job in a shorter time than promised. I also reviewed pictures of other jobs that he could do: decks, storage buildings, inside jobs (kitchen, etc) and we will contract with him on future jobs.

DO NOT HIRE!!!! IT WAS HORRIBLE and went 1 month over schedule with them not showing up for a total of 5 days during the job and did NOT complete the job either. They left and never had intentions of returning. Changed their numbers after the job as well. These are crooks! There were things missing from the house after the job, things were broken in the house and not taking responsibility over, there were bold faced lies told directly to me in person. They were given assistance by us running to pick up supplies daily which is THEIR job. They DO NOT work well with others, because of their delays in their schedule and not showing up, other contractors began showing up to do their jobs, and these men would leave a few hours after arriving not being able to work with other people. They DO NOT clean ANYTHING, left huge messes in each room, from paint to mud to drywall mudding on furniture and clothing, and appliances, and made a complete and horrible mess throughout the house. This job was to repair sheet rock from chair rail, holes, remove a whole house intercom system, install a 3 piece shower, and painting. This was to be a full house, but after spending 4 weeks in 3 rooms upstairs, and blaming paint for their inability to work and correctly fix things, they moved downstairs and were not told to complete the full downstairs. We are now having to paint the remaining trim ourselves after these thieves ran and took the money and didn't come back to do what was promised and told directly to our faces. If you're smart, you'll look completely over these incapable people and don't allow them in your homes.
