"Very smoothly. There were the inveitable small glitches that were responded to immediately. The tile installer, electrical installer, plumbing installer were all top notch.

We have built four houses over our 55 year marriage, two of which I prime contracted myself. Chris Edwards Construction is as good as they come. I can give him my unequivocal reccomendation."

"Liev, Earl, and Clayton went right to work and got everything done in a timely fashion. They installed several risers. Showed me pictures and explained what they had done. I could not have crawled in the mud and done what they did."

"I contacted Rooter Pros to see if they could get to my leak that day. They said they could have someone there in a couple hours. They keep contact with me until they arrived. They had to dig down about 2 feet to find the leak and had everything they needed on the truck to fix it with. After they were done the cleaned everything up and you can hardly tell they were there. I can tell you from my 35 years of experience dealing with plumbers in the past that Rooter Pros are the best in the business at what they do. They are attentive to your request, efficient with there time and very effective at what they do. And to top it off they are very affordable."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Yes, in most cases, a plumber can increase your water pressure. However, a plumber isn't always needed. If you want to potentially save some money on a plumber, consider troubleshooting using the above steps. If your problem still isn't fixed, then it's probably time to call a pro to fix it for you.

Today’s standard sink stopper size is 1.5 inches. However, you can still find different sizes if your house uses an older sink stopper. Other sizes you can find in most hardware stores include one inch, 1-1/4 inch, 1-3/8 inch, 1-5/8 inch, 1-7/8 inch, 2 inch, 2-1/4 inch, 2-3/8 inch, and 2.5 inch.

You will need a plumber to install a kitchen faucet if your installation requires modifications to your plumbing system. However, if none of these modifications are needed, a faucet installation pro can do the job. In a pinch, you can also outsource the project to a handyperson or simply go the DIY route.

A bathtub diverter is used when you have a shower-tub combination. The diverter valve allows you to send the water to either your tub faucet or your showerhead. Diverter shower valves cost between $20 and $200. Higher-end brands, such as Moen, might cost more—some models are over $250.

Try to tighten the clevis crew and adjust the lift rod if your sink stopper won’t stay up. Sometimes your screws became too loose over time, and as a result, there wasn’t enough resistance to keep the sink stopper up. If a damaged lift rod is the cause of the problem, you will need to replace it with a new rod.
