"I'm wore out with Mr. Electric. They did some work that did not work. They said they would refund my money. It was pending and now it disappeared. What is going on. I'll take this down if it's my mistake, if not I'll add more to the story. Once I find out the full story , I'll post it."

"I hired W B Lighting Rods/William Burden to install lightning rods on my home. I spoke to William on a Monday and by Thursday before 1 PM the lightning rods were installed on my home. William explained everything he was going to do before he did it. The lightning rods were affordable and most of all it gives me peace of mind knowing that my home is protected against lightning strikes and fire damage. I couldnâ t be happier with this company!!"

When power is restored to your home, the transfer switch will return to utility power after about 10 seconds. Your generator will then run for a few more minutes to cool down before automatically shutting itself off. In most situations, your home will stay powered by the generator for at least five minutes, even after your power comes back on.

No, it doesn’t matter which of the two wires goes on each of the two switch terminals. Just be sure to put the ground wire in the correct terminal. The ground wire is either green, bare copper, or green with a yellow stripe. The other wires are hot wires and are typically black. They can be used interchangeably.

You can make a pigtail with either thermoplastic high-heat-resistant nylon-coated (THHN) wire or non-metallic (NM) cable, often referred to as “Romex.” Each pigtail requires a neutral wire, a ground wire, and a live wire. The gauge of your pigtail wires must match the gauge of those on the device.

When installing an outdoor outlet, it's important to proceed with caution. Unless you have the necessary training and licensure, it's not recommended to attempt this DIY. First, choose a suitable location. Make sure that the area can accommodate the outlet without overloading the circuit. You'll also need to ensure that your project complies with building codes. Next, turn off the power to the circuit, then install and wire the outlet according to the manufacturer's instructions. Once the outlet is in place, test it. Lastly, be sure to use a cover that will protect it from moisture and other weather-related damage.

Simple moves on the same base or within a few feet will not take long, roughly three to four hours. Larger moves onto a new wall or transitioning a box from inside to outside will take 8 to 12 hours to complete. Ask your electrician for a time estimate prior to installation.
