"I had a booger of a job because of the type of hot water tank that had to be replaced; but the installation went well. Jim did a great job and was very thorough. He also provided a great deal of needed information. After finishing the job, he informed me of a rebate that i would be getting...what a nice surprise! I highly recommend Jim and Coleson Plumbing and will be using them again."

"All went well but Daniel Sullivan never returned to complete the project on services paid. Called and sent 3+ emails with no response. Sink faucets never installed paid for this service. Need additional adjustments on work performed...leaks with shower head and adjustments needed to free standing bath tub faucet."

"Dennis and his team said our pipes appeared to be in good shape and suggested a good cleaning first to see if that would fix our draining problems. They were right and they saved us a lot of $$ and our drain is working fantastic now. I would highly recommend D & G Plumbing for their integrity and quality service! I will absolutely be calling them again for all of my future plumbing needs."

"I am so excited and pleased with the work they did for me. They dug the ditch, installed the regulator and laid over 450 feet of pex waterline to get public water established. Very professional, efficient and got it all done in one day!! I've not had any problems or leaks and my water pressure is wonderful. Will use again and highly recommend."

"I'm a repeat customer.  Meeks has been performing this service over the past 20 plus years. Called to schedule a normal 5 year service.  They arrived on time and completed the work.  I had concern the lid might be damaged since the ground has settled significantly in the last few months.  They checked all the lid sections were intact and confirmed there was no damage.

"I wanted to put N//A FOR THE FIRST ANSWER BECAUSE I AM STILL TRYING TO REACH THEM TO COMPLETE THE JOB. HE LOOKED AT IT AND SAID HE WOULD BE BACK AFTER ORDERING A SMALL PART FOR THE SINK FAUCET BUT THAT WAS OVER A MONTH AGO AND I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING . I HAD HOPED TO GET IT DONE PRIOR TO THANKSGIVING AND NOW I AM APPROACHING CHRISTMAS

Update:
A different plumber came out when the part finally arrived. The new plummer discovered that the wrong part had been ordered. However, the second plumber also realized that no part was needed. He fixed the entire problem was a little extra elbow. The job was completed by the second plumber in less then 5 minutes. This was outstanding work by the second plumber. We gave the company an overall "C "since we would have been spared a lot of time and discomfort had the second plumber been sent out the first time."

"Mr Webb's work is very good and my wife and I are very pleased with his work, cost and work time.  We have used Complete Home Repair for several small repairs this year and have always been very pleased.  He shows up when he says he will and gets the job done.  So when we planned this latest project, we did not hesitate to call them and in fact did not even think about any one else.
We have in mind some other projects around here and will certainly call them first.  We found Complete Home Repair on Angie's list and have even found others for HVAC etc.

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

While unplugging your garbage disposal and plugging it back in may help, most units have an actual reset button, a bright red switch found on the underside of your unit. If your garbage disposal needs resetting, you may notice this button sticking out about a quarter of an inch from the surface of the unit, with which it’s usually flush. Simply depress this reset button to reset the unit, and then test to ensure it’s working about 10 minutes later.

The cost to fix a leaky pipe ranges depending on location—the easier the pipe is to access, the less expensive the repair will be. Because a leaky pipe under the sink is typically an exposed pipe, this is one of the least expensive repairs for a plumber to do, often costing between $150 to $300 to fix, on average.

Yes, there are different size sink drains, but a 1 ½-inch-diameter drain is the most common modern drain size. However, some sink drains are 2 inches or 3 inches in diameter. A bathroom sink drain is 1 ¼ inches in diameter, and kitchen sink drainpipes are 1 ½ inches in diameter.

The average cost to hire a plumber is typically between $45 and $200 per hour, with a common average rate around $125 per hour. This cost can vary based on your location, the plumber's experience, and the complexity of the job. Rates are often broken down by experience level: an apprentice may charge $45 to $90 an hour, a journeyman $60 to $110 an hour, and a master plumber $80 to $200 an hour. While hourly rates are standard, some plumbers may charge a flat fee for routine projects or offer project-based pricing. It's also common for plumbers to charge a minimum service or trip fee. For reference, some typical flat-rate costs for common jobs include: drain unclogging ($220), leaky faucet repair ($270), burst pipe repair ($400), toilet repair ($300), and water heater repair ($600). Note that these rates are for standard service hours; emergency, holiday, and after-hours calls will cost significantly more.

Whether a pot filler is worth it depends on your cooking habits, budget, and kitchen layout. For avid home cooks who frequently prepare pasta, soups, or stocks, the convenience of filling large pots directly on the stove can be a significant benefit. A pot filler can also add value to a home, attracting potential buyers with its combination of luxury and utility. However, the installation can cost around $800. The return on this investment is highest in larger kitchens where the sink is far from the stove. In smaller kitchens, where the sink is nearby, a pot filler might be perceived as an unnecessary feature by some homeowners or potential buyers.
