"B & J Pools installed us an in-ground pool late last year. They do great work. I would recommend them to anyone. Stayed on the timeline they presented and completed the pool on time. We love our pool and kids have been in it everyday this summer. Highly recommend B&J pools."

"We LITERALLY bought our house with the intent to put a pool in the backyard. When we asked our realtor for the best and reasonably priced pool builder in the area, she referred us to B & J Pools LLC who was also completing her inground pool at the time we were house hunting. When I say I had a phenomenal experience, I mean it. We collaborated as a team to make my vision of what I wanted the backyard addition to look like and Bobby and his team made it happen seamlessly. I am in love with the finished product and the timeliness of the completion."

Customers say: Quality work

"My inground pool was near death, with more dirt and trash in it, virtually no liner nor bottom (poolcrete completely disintegrated). Steve and team took on the project and hit it out of the part. My pool is back to its old glory and ready for the season! I can't say enough about these guys, amazing work amd I highly recommend McPherson Pool and Patio!!!"

Needed a part not included and Jeff brought it to job within 2 hours of discovery. Did not slow process of repairing pool. Great Job!"

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Consultation with the local government helps identify necessary permits, avoid project delays or legal issues, and protect project integrity.

Costs depend on material quality, labor rates, and additional features like lighting or custom finishes.

Land surveys are worth it in several scenarios including selling your home, building an addition, constructing a fence, or making major changes to your landscape. A professional land survey can help you avoid legal issues with your neighbors and confirm the value of your property. In many cases, you may be required to order a land survey to receive a construction permit or mortgage loan.

When planning for land survey costs, you should consider the following elements as major contributors to the overall cost:

  • Size of your property in terms of acres or square feet

  • Complexity of the terrain in terms of hills, elevation changes, rocks, water, and other features

  • Type of survey you need (boundary survey, topographic survey, or a combination of survey types)

  • Distance traveled for the professional surveyor

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.
