Classic Gardens & Landscape, Inc. was founded in January of 1990. Previously in the same location was another landscape/garden center that Mike had worked with for five years. When that business left they took everything with them. Mike and Ann started over from scratch. The name Classic was chosen to signify the quality type of garden center that Mike & Ann had envisioned. But a name alone does not a garden center make. Questions were asked, “What is most important to customers that shop at garden centers?”. Our answers such as excellent quality and a huge selection of hard to find plants were obvious. But the most important asset of a quality garden center is excellent Service and very knowledgeable staff.

We are a licensed and insured Landscape Construction company with in house landscape designers, trade experts and horticultural consultants. When we come out to a project for a consultation, a 75 dollar fee (or 35 dollar fee for estimate on specified scope of work) for first time clients. During this, we get a general scope of what the project will entail, certain style of homeowner, what their needs and wants are and hopefully gain a lifelong client of our company. Next, the design team comes up with a well planned map of your property and create traffic flow, visual interest and comfortable outdoor rooms throughout. After revisions, we will set up a meeting and go over our thoughts of how your property (or project) is best situated. If you choose, after this meeting we will create an estimate including all aspects, sub contracted services and that of our company. We typically get 3 to 5 estimates for all projects that is best suited outside of our company. Of these estimates, we go with the company that has been most professional, gotten back to us promptly and that we have seen and touched their quality work. Going through all of the proper steps and doing all of the preventative homework makes our projects run smoothly, efficiently and clean with maximum client communication. Our company prides itself on leaving as little trace as possible. We like to be clean on our projects and also like to use 'clean' products. Our use of native plant material reduces chemicals and increases plant survivability, our irrigation equipment is some of the most efficient in the industry, most of our lighting is warm lite led lights to conserve electricity and bulbs. Outdoor Living Areas accepts Visa and Master Card as well as checks and cash. Our normal payment method is 25% on day three of the project and 75% upon completion.
