  Very well. I liked the automated text messages with schedule confirmation, "on their way", etc. Actually arrived earlier than scheduled (after calling to check whether that was OK). Got all of the stains out. Carpet took 24h to dry, as they warned me in advance. Looks great now. Only irritant was their trying to upsell me to more services than I wanted, but that's no big deal, I just said no

  The entire experience was excellent. Gus and his assistant (I cannot recall his name) were punctual, professional and courteous. But most importantly, they did a superb job cleaning 2 very dirty vintage chairs. One of the chairs was covered with deep sticky stains that I knew would be difficult to remove. However, Gus and his assistant did a great job in making most of the stains disappear. Even the deepest stains were greatly diminished. Those few deeper stains are barely noticeable. Overall, we are very pleased with the job

  I had a coupon for $99 for 3 rooms of carpet cleaning. I scheduled the cleaning online and it required a minimum cleaning total of $132. Instead of paying the $33 minimum fee, I added a hall cleaning. When they arrived, they explained that they would not be able to clean the narrow hall because their machine was too big, so they just used a mop and didn't charge me. They also explained that in the future I should just call when they are running the special because they actually do not charge any minimum fee (seems like this is a corporate thing). I appreciated their honestly, and I wasn't too disappointed about the hall because I was really just trying to avoid the fee (the hall wasn't too dirty). They were very pleasant, quick and attended to any questions I had. Will be using them again. <br /

  I like to have my carpets cleaned once a year and for the last at least 6-7 years have only used COIT. Ok, I lie, I used Stanley Steamer once when I in a pinch and couldn't get a time slot in time for my event, but my preference is COIT. I live in the Bay Area....my luck, the first time COIT cleaned my carpets they sent Martin out and I've requested him only ever since! Martin is professional, courteous and efficient! I have a small space with carpet, maybe 600 feet. There's a standard base that you will need to pay no matter how small of an area (not sure if that dollar amount varies from location to location), I don't qualify for any discounts and yes, the price does keep going up but that's to be expected. And I'll pay for it since I don't think I can get the same result and I'm not willing to try. Martin is usually here for not even 30 minutes tops and always manages to arrive early. So be prepared! On another note, I can imagine that good workers might be hard to find in this industry. Let's be brutally honest, would you choose to be a carpet cleaner as your profession? Hopefully their managers are treating them well at the least. These people are lugging equipment, coming into your personal space and providing a service. A service that you don't want to do yourself. Be kind. They are only the messenger

  SHORT REVIEW: Most of the work was extremely effective at getting floors clean. They were very responsive and attentive in getting my business, but I had a few issues with the results and the company exhibited poor responsiveness here, failing to address them, and despite having a guaranteed did not offer to refund any money and didn't follow through with returning to do a second cleaning. So I'm disappointed with their customer service, and their commitment to quality in terms of honoring their "guarantee". LONG REVIEW: I had several rooms to clean, both tile and carpeting: 4 rooms with tile and 4 rooms plus stairs with carpet. The company was highly responsive to my initial inquiries and in setting up both consult and actual work appointments. The quote was not cheap, but I figured with the good reviews on this site that I'd be paying for quality. The carpets got very clean. Two of the three rooms with tile got very clean. So quality there was good. However, in some of the rooms there was some small damage to the wall and an appliance. I understand accidents happen, but one of the damaged areas must have resulting in debris the worker would have seen. I wasn't so bothered by the damage itself, but by them not telling me of it. I sent photos to the salesperson (I think he's a co-owner as well) and he did not dispute the damage though he stated that the worker insists he didn't notice any. He said he'd follow up after Thanksgiving with a subsequent appointment to try another method on the tile floor that didn't get clean but he never did pursue, and that's despite my emailing him multiple times

  The carpet cleaning was very good. I have allergies, so I like that fact that they are certified by the allergy association. They cleaned 4 rooms (Living room, dining room, a bedroom, a hallway, and the stairs). I have used them at least 3 times. It is very easy to call them on the phone. Someone always answers, and it is easy to schedule. They are very professional, and arrive on time. The carpet cleaning quality is top notch, and the price was pretty good. I have used other companies in the past, but the quality is way better with Stanley Steamer. They are top notch in carpet cleaning. They did a little carpet stretching, but the quality was average. I will defiantly use them again in the future!
