We are The Maids - a ridiculously thorough house cleaning service in Concord. We like to think of ourselves as professional connoisseurs of clean. And we're committed to giving you the best clean imaginable. We set ourselves apart by cleaning homes in teams of four. Our professionals employees are bonded and insured - each one trained and certified. We use our own products and supplies, like our specialty vacuums with HEPA filtration that remove 99 percent of all dust and allergens. Our cleaning products are environmentally safe so we can ensure they won't leave behind harsh odors or cause damage. We clean the smallest of details, like doorknobs, light switches, phone receivers, remote controls and appliance handles, because we know where germs try to hide. I had 4 women come to my house in Oakland, CA on 4/18/23 they spent 3 hours in my house "doing a deep clean" - what I did not know was,they were looking in my closet and bathroom drawers for anything they could possibly steel - and one of them did 4 days later. Someone broke into my house went straight to my closet stole all of my handbags and jewelry (that was very hidden in my closet! Mr. David Alsup owner of The Maids of Concord will not speak to anyone except the OPD. This man knows that one of his "Maids" burglarized my home (or told someone else where to find my items of interest). I have located a few of my purses on Craig's list for sale out of Los Gatos. Shame on this company for taking $866 from me to only rob me days later

The staff is excellent. Very friendly, accommodating and professional. A few things were not done as expected. After a phone call, those things were corrected going forward. Supervisors came out periodically to inspect. They were sold to new owners about a year ago and prices went up. Continued to use them until I found someone more affordable. It's unfortunate because this company was convenient an easy to work with but couldnt see spending that much every two weeks. New housecleaner starts this week and will be $57 cheaper per visit.

"Hi [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your feedback. We are a little confused by the review, however. You posted it on Friday, March 11, 2016. We performed your move-in service on September 11, 2015, 6 months ago. We were in your home for 2 hours with 4 people cleaning. We did a move-in clean that included cleaning the inside oven, refrigerator, and freezer. We did wipe out all inside and outside of cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen. We handwiped all woodwork throughout the house including the baseboards. Cleaned all floors and bathrooms completely. We also dusted the blinds and cleaned all inside windows and tracks. We vacuumed the inside of the closets also. Our customer service manager spoke to you after the clean and you stated that everything was good, and that we had only missed cleaning one vent (according to her notes when she spoke with you). So we are very sorry if we missed any items on that clean, and we are sorry that we were unaware of that. We 100% guarantee our work, and would have recleaned any areas missed at no additional cost to you. We always try to follow up with our customers to make sure they are satisified with our work. We appreciate your business, and please let us know if we can do anything else for you. Thank you again for your feedback."

They did an okay job but I wouldn't give them an A, maybe a B. I'd decided I was going to use them, if they worked out okay. Their Deal was to come out and do kind of a full cleaning for the first visit and they did an okay job but they didn't do a great job. The price was average, they were better than a lot of them. They were all pleasant. I would tell a friend that it depends, if you keep your cost low, you'll get probably a good choice, you just won't get as much polishing. It would be fine for me if I was using them just for me but my wife would never put up with it. I think it was going to be maybe $120 a month, for 2 visits a month but the initial visit was like $220 because they were going to do this super clean job which if they had done that well, they probably would have got the job. They just did it kind of fast. They didn't get all the surfaces. The first service is kind of a showcase service.

A team of 4 arrived within the times estimated, used their own equipment. They spread to different areas and in a little over an hour, it was as if we had a new house. Extremely pleasant and efficient crew with conscientious attention to detail. An equally pleasant and efficient Area Supv. stopped by to check the house and see if I am happy with their service. I have been using them for a couple of years and they are a blessing.

They were extremely thorough. 4 people were the team, 1 being the team leader. After about 1 1/2 hrs., a Supervisor showed up to see how it was going. She checked all the work and had the bathroom person redo the floors. My house is sparkling. They arrived on time. I will use them again. They are neat and professional.

My experience with them was great, but she was a little late getting there because there was an accident on the road. She and her crew finished it that night and it was really well done. She made sure the job got done that day. I was very impressed with them. When it looked liked they might not get finish she called a couple of other people to come out and help out to get it done, that's above and beyond.

The Maids came to do a major deep clean - the house is clean, but needed a deep clean and overall spiffing - up before a party.
The workers were professional and thorough, and the house looked great.
The service is a little pricey, but as others have said, you get what you pay for.
