I then used them in 2021 to gut the kitchen and replace everything, and fall of 2021 to replace front doors. Jan-March of 2022, they gutted the master bath and in May replaced exterior trim. They have been outstanding to work with, this is why I keep using them. Given the pandemic, and supply issues, I appreciate Kristy and Dan's communication with me, and Kristy's help in selecting cabinets, back splash, and flooring and faucets and sinks and doors

Upon an inspection of our fireplace they found a piece of insulation shoved up into the flue. If they hadn’t found it and we had started the fireplace we would’ve had a major fire. They also inspected the chimney and said there was so little work to be done that they were going to reduce the price that we were originally quoted. Certainly didn’t inspect that expect that! They were very professional: wore booties inside the house; explained what the problem was, what they would do, and how much it would cost. Job took about 2 hours and work appears to be very clean and well-done. Only downside was the cost. I was a bit surprised that it would cost that much to replace a gas shut-off valve, but I had little choice because of the urgency of the repair

"I hired this company to clean my gas logs. I spent over $250 and am still having trouble with them. My logs light, but after 15 mins start to smell like they are burning and then shut themselves off. This problem has gotten worse since they were here. I have contacted them multiple times to have them come back out to look and they will not return my call. I will not hire this company again.

"I highly recommend using Landscape Design Solutions (LDS) for your project. My wife and I went into this project with a general idea of what we were looking for, but Greg provided us with a design that really brought it to life. We walked through the yard - pointing to plants we would like to be removed and asked for some suggestions. Greg took this information and came back with a wonderful design that took our incomplete idea and made it whole. He explained the plants he chose, why they are best for our environment, how we can expect them to look year-round, etc. Further, the price for all of the work performed was excellent. I worked with several other local landscapers to compare designs/prices and my choice was very easy. LDS beat out the competitors in both design and price. When it came time to execute the design, the team was excellent. Greg and other members of LDS kept the lines of communication open - letting us know when they would arrive, what to expect when they are there and any questions they had throughout. They worked efficiently and we are very pleased with the result thus far. Our job was completed in November, so we really haven't had the chance to see the flowers bloom, but I was given comfort by LDS' warranty. If one of the plants does not "take" in the first year, LDS assured us that they will work with us so that the results of project meet our expectations. I also wanted to note that the crew was tidy. No messes were left around the yard and no damage was done when hauling machinery/plants around to the back of our house. Once the project was complete, Greg walked us through everything and ensured that it met our standards. As everything looked great, no additional work was needed. During the final walk-through, Greg also did a great job educating us on how to care for our new plants and what we could expect throughout their first year. "Did full inspection; chimney liner too small and in process of checking, found the liner wasn’t even secured. Crew from Kicking Ash did superb job of evaluation, diagnosing problem, explaining everything clearly and providing detailed information on solution. They were polite, friendly, professional and competent. They replaced the chimney liner, fixed damper, insulated as needed and secured new liner and completed repairs on chimney on roof. Very complete and each step explained. While I really appreciated their competence and expertise, what was even more important to me was their honesty, commitment to quality work, high standards and comprehensiveness of services. "GBR did a great job on a difficult chimney repair. Completely rebuilt the top of the chimney. Were always punctual and professional. Price was as quoted and reasonable. Husband/wife team who are good people. The repair was particularly difficult due to the height of the chimney and slope of the roof. They found the original brick and mortar matches the rest of the fireplace. All 15-20 courses of new brick are straight. Most impressive was care they took with the yard/patio. Plywood was laid down to prevent the lift machine from creating ruts in the yard - no ruts. Also, put everything else back to like new as if they had not been there.
