  • Independent Plumbing
Will saved us the service call by requesting photos, location & age of the gas heater. He recommended we purchase a $5 cap at a hardware store & keep watching it. He advised heaters last 10-14 years so this was a great heads-up for a purchase coming soon, before our 15 year old unit causes a big mess! AND, Will is handsome

Matt did an incredible job on several projects getting our home ready to sell. From top to bottom, inside and out he tackle each job professionally. Added a large double chimney cap, pressure washed the house/porch and stained the two story deck, repaired plumbing leak, sealed basement walls with dry-lock, painted interior rooms. Trimmed trees, shrubs, blew leaves, mowed and groomed flower beds. Matt made several suggestions to minimize our costs, and optimize our schedule to get the house ready for sale. The Realtor was also very impressed with the work completed

  • Friddle Mark Plumbing
Mark saved me over $1000 that Roto Rooter tried to scam out of me. He told me that my water heater did NOT require an extra expansion tank (that Roto Rooter was insisting was now code and I HAD to get one) because we have a well. I called out Roto Rooter on that and then they admitted i didn't need it and then said they would fix the leak for free without installing an expansion tank. I said No Thank You and gave my business to Mark. Saved me over $1000 yesterday

Dynamic Plumbing has completed a few jobs for me. Joshua is very conscientious. He makes sure the job is done right! He is honest and very fair. I would highly recommend him. His last project for me was my kitchen sink. Its gorgeous and finally does not leak. Two other plumbers worked on it. Josh fixed it! My bathroom is next

The project started out wrong because we ordered wrong things. But, Josh was very amendable. He was very straight forward with what we could expect. We are very pleased with his work. I have already spoken with him about your next project.

  • North Carolina Water Consultants
We have been clients of North Carolina Water Consultants for 25 years and can attest to the great quality and service you can rely on. We needed an upgrade on our existing system and the owner, Eddie Bonge came out to review our needs. The whole process was done in a timely manner. The installers, Chris, Kevin, Javier and Rick were courteous, professional and efficient. The system assures us that we have the purest drinking water available. Our clothes are cleaner, we use less detergent, soap and shampoo because our water is softer. North Carolina Water Consultants is an exceptional company

Customer service! Customer service! Customer service! First off, I must tell you that this whole crew is all about CUSTOMER SERVICE which is an extremely rare thing to find these days!!! Especially with this whole Covid pandemic! We would gladly recommend North Carolina Water Consultants to our friends and family. Eddie came to test our water on the first appointment, right on time. After completing the test results there with us, he explained very thoroughly what the results were and gave us a few options to choose from. This guy was VERY knowledgeable! We decided on the whole system. Our water was pretty bad. We had hard water, which left a hard ring on the toilets and sink faucets. It also had a lot of iron in it making it stain the toilets, and even our white clothes looked dingy from washing them in the washing machine. Then Chris and his crew arrived as scheduled. They had the whole system up and running in 1 day! They and explained what everything was. They were very well mannered, friendly, intelligent, efficient and clean! It's been 2 months so far and we are definitely satisfied with the service and syste

It went great! Outdoor faucet was from 1959. Other plumbers had said faucet would have to be torn out of stone wall to be replaced because the part needed was no longer available. It would have been a major ordeal! David found the outdated part on the computer & ordered. Fixed it perfectly! No mess. We couldn’t have been more pleased because it is used often!!

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
