"Matt repaired a few areas of drywall in our ceiling that had been damaged by a leak and along the edges of some walls. He arrived on time, every time. "Mr. Cantrell did an awesome job on repairing ceiling drywall in a bathroom and bedroom. I also had him paint both those rooms plus another bedroom. He repaired the ceilings, mud, sanded and prepped the ceilings and wall for paint. He used good quality Sherwin Williams paint. Work was completely done on time and I do not have any negatives about his work or person. I will be hiring him again for additional work."

The cost to texture drywall depends on whether you want to do the work yourself or hire a professional. The cost of the drywall mud is far lower than labor costs for applying it. You should not leave drywall outside, especially overnight or in a wet, humid climate. Joint compound, also known as drywall mud, consists of limestone and gypsum and is primarily used for large-scale projects like taping and finishing seams on new drywall. Spackle is composed of gypsum and binding agents, making it a thicker compound best suited for small wall repairs like filling nail holes or cracks, as it dries quickly and is easy to sand. For small repairs, either product can be suitable. However, you can use joint compound for small jobs in place of spackle, but you cannot use spackle for large-scale taping and mudding projects.

For maximum stability, install grab bars on wall studs, as this will adequately support the weight. However, if you don't have access to studs, you can get by with wall anchors. If opting for the latter, choose specialty hollow wall anchors.
