"They did a great job on our bathtub remodel. Overall, things were completed in a professional and timely fashion. If the crew ran into issue they discussed directly with me before proceeding. And any concerns I had Craig quickly resolved, thank you and your crew!"

"Bath Fitters was by far the fastest and most competent shower installer that we had talked to. Pricing was comparable to other places but the thing that sold us was how personable Kenny was at the estimate. They saw us within 24 hours, gave us a quote, and we were set up with a payment plan with ease."

"We recently had our master bath remodeled by Ilan and Top Leader Construction, and have only positive things to say about our experience. Ilan was very professional and knowledgeable, and was personally involved in the entire project, from initial consultation to final punch list. He communicated with us on a daily basis, and was always available to answer any questions or concerns. Ilan team of contractors and their crews (demolition, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tile & stone, painting, flooring) are quality craftsmen. They were very courteous and diligent, showing up when scheduled and treating our home with respect. The work was completed on time and with minimal disruption. We were very pleased with the entire process, and are thrilled with our new master bath. We canâ t recommend Top Leader highly enough, and we will definitely use them for our future remodeling needs."

"Renee and Israel installed glass tile backsplash on our kitchen and we are pleased with the results. The work was neat and Renee was responsive to any feedback. I would hire them again if I decide to remodel other areas of my house."

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

In some cases, people are getting rid of bathtubs because of the floor space they gain after removal. Showers can make more efficient use of bathroom space. In some cases, people get rid of tubs for accessibility purposes. It can be difficult for some individuals to step into and out of a tub. For these people, a shower with no lip or step is safer and easier to use than a tub.

How much room you need for a roll-in shower depends on your goals and the specifications of your shower. Most roll-in showers require at least 60-by-30 inches of space, and at least 60-by-60 inches is best for comfort and maneuverability. When planning the size of your roll-in shower, consider your needs for comfort and additional installations, such as benches and grab bars, that can make the space tighter.

Renovations that add functionality or more comfortable floor space generally add the most value when remodeling your home. Attic or basement finishing can add floor space without altering the home's structure, saving you renovation money while adding valuable space. Smaller improvements, such as installing smart-home components or replacing entry doors and windows, also experience high ROIs.

Yes, you can put a bathroom in a bump-out. Some homeowners build a bump-out to enhance their bathrooms with new sinks, vanities, tubs, showers, or linen closets. Depending on the layout of your bathroom and what you’re adding to it, you may need to install new plumbing or reroute your existing plumbing lines.

While a bathroom vanity doesn't need to be flush with the side wall, it’s best to install it that way where possible. Achieving a flush fit can enhance aesthetics and create a cohesive look, plus it will help conceal and safeguard your plumbing. However, exceptions can be made based on design preferences and available space. Be sure that there’s sufficient clearance for drawers and cabinet doors to open comfortably. Additionally, consider factors like plumbing and room layout when deciding on the vanity's positioning relative to the side wall.
