Great communication and availability. The fencing is great and just what I wanted.

Mr. Turner provided a design to convert the garage into a home that is visually appealing and kept costs down. He took care of all the permits and inspections (many). All the electrical, plumbing, drywall, insulation and heating work was well done - never a problem in passing inspections. The craftsmanship on the carpentry work is beautiful includes a walk in closet, laundry closet, window framing and baseboards. Bathroom was well thought out-every inch used. Many details I had not thought of Mr. Turner did (led ceiling lights, well placed heaters, lots of insulation added into the walls and attic). They also did an excellent painting finish of the entire house and floor installation. They left the home spotless to include cleaning out the heaters. Mr. Turner provided a detailed estimate with drawings after our first meeting and provided me an update after I requested additional work. This is a very honest and nice company to deal with. We will definitely call them in future for other projects.

David and his team were OUTSTANDING! Our deck is absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail is impressive. Furthermore, David did the work for considerably less than the other bidding contractors. He also made sure that the site was thoroughly cleaned before leaving. Again, attention to detail.

Turner made 2 appointments and never showed for either. He made no contact to explain. HE GHOSTED ME

David and crew were excellent from the start. We received a written, detailed quote. Work was done timely despite a few changes made by us. Every day after working, the area was cleaned and organized by the crew. We had very minimal clean up after project was finished. All permits and inspections were taken care of by DE Turner, so we did not have to adjust our work schedules to be home. Very pleased! We wish we would’ve known them and hired them for our last remodel project which was a nightmare.

Mr. Turner was very nice and listened to my needs. He is a contractor that specializes in large projects but didn't hesitate to offer me his services in regards to my smaller project needs. His prices were extremely fair and the attention to detail in his work was second to none. Phenomenal job. Showed up everyday and worked. I know that sounds like a given, but in this day-in-age I appreciate the dedication. Dave and workers were professional, courteous, and personable. Comms were delayed at times; however, I used to work construction and can appreciate the work load. We are hiring them for a larger remodel.

David was very generous with his time on the phone to determine the parameters of the job and answer my questions. We made a date for the work to be done. He arrived and assessed the water damage and informed me of termite damage as well. He determined that we could go forward with the job and it was completed that day. Very knowledgeable, very efficient and easy to work with.

David’s group did a wonderful job on my roof. They left no evidence or damage behind. The roofing tiles he uses are high quality and nice looking. He’s extremely reasonsonably priced. He by far beat my other 2 estimates. He’s a very busy person so sometimes he’s hard to catch but I definitely would use him again.

We recently used David Turner's company to remodel our master bathroom, and I couldn't be happier. I can be a particular, sometimes demanding client, and to top it off, I was working with him remotely from Alexandria, so there were many phone conversations and pictures exchanged with David who was onsite in Shepherdstown keeping me apprised of progress. David was on top of everything. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and regularly came up with ideas for how to do things better that aligned well with the vision I had for the room. In addition to solid construction, he paid a lot of attention on prep work to ensure the rest of the house was protected during construction. He was highly responsive, and the end result is beautiful. I can't say enough positive things about this experience.

Timing and work went as planned, and of utmost importance to me, Mr Turner kept me up to date on the project. I am using and will use him on future projects. His fees are well in line with the industry, in my opinion.

I contacted Mr. Turner in Nov 2018. He came by within a few weeks, to look at my job. It was a basement finishing job. When he did come to do the estimate, most of the time he was in a heated discussion with someone on the phone. Stated he would have quote to me in a week. It's March 2019, and still waiting on it. That is four months. I reached out to him three times for the estimate. Each time, I had to remind him who I was and what job it was. He would then state he will have it soon. I am not impressed. I did not have work done by him. I would have just appreciated honesty, if he was not interested in the job, then tell the me. I never received the promised estimate.

Mr. Turner responded quickly when my my roof was leaking and did excellent repair work. Very professional. I'm hoping to have him remodel a bathroom for me soon too.

Guys came out within two days of calling them out. They replaced some shingles that had blown away and did a quick inspection of the roof. With a recent rain storm we noticed another leak and gave them a call. They came back out the same day I called and did a quick inspection and noticed what the problem was and fixed it as well.

Never return phone call

DE Turner and Son put a new roof after a freak hail storm. We got a new roof with gutters on my home. David gave me a very detailed estimate of the work. He outlined options in a way that was easy to understand. For example he explained the cost of replacing what we had, vs upgrading. We went for the upgraded options of architectural shingles with a better wear rating. This wasn’t an up sale, this was David’s decades of knowledge on products on the market. The upgrades were only about an 8% increase for twice the roof. His team descended on my home, did excellent prep on the site, and stared the roof. When they were done, they walked me through the work, and left the site just as they found it. The old gutters were removed and new, upgraded one, installed the following week. Roof looks great, we are very happy.

I would hire DE Turner and Sons General Contracting LLC again for all my home improvement projects! Great customer service!

All work was performed in an exceptional manner within estimated costs and timelines. David always kept me informed of what was going on, his workers were professional and courteous and did a great job cleaning after the job was completed. HIGHLY recommend this company for any work you need done (big or small).

Rep showed up at least 1 hour late. Wasted another hour looking at the project then left and never gave me an estimate. Would not return my calls.

Dave and his crew are very professional and offer suggestions that make the outcome of the project better.

Mr. Cooper came out the same day I called and was willing to come out at 6pm when I got home from work. He arrived on time, made useful suggestions and did an excellent job completing the project. Mr. Cooper was professional, pleasant and efficient. I would definitely hire him again.
