He arrived on time with his helper and completed the job in one day. His efforts included finishing the drywall, installing woodwork and painting and staining as necessary. The work performed was outstanding and beyond my expectations. Every detail was exacting and done to perfection. He was very knowledgeable and eager to meet to meet all our needs. "Wonderful source for beautiful Persian rugs. Traditional and modern. I like simple geometric (minimalistic), modern designs and Bruce Shabahang in Waukesha has a great selection of unique rugs. In fact I consider one large one (about 12' X 15') to be a museum-quality art object. But that's my personal opinion. It was sold with the help of Bruce's father and brother (Ogden St. Shabahang shop) who personally drove me to Bruce's. It's a family team. In both cases, the staff delivered a selection of rugs to my house for approval, and returned with alternatives. They moved furniture and placed the chosen rugs, pads included, to my specifications. These rugs are not inexpensive, but the Shabahangs do give discounts. I've bought a total of 7 from both brothers, and told my nephew and wife who bought one (traditional, from Ogden St.) so you can see that I am happy with the quality, selection, and personal attention. Many of their rugs are heirloom quality that could qualify for future resale. If that is important, a buyer should inquire before purchase."

I was never left wondering what if—a few times, I had ideas mid-project, and Nick always provided his professional opinion before executing them flawlessly. The entire project lasted about three months, though it likely would have been completed sooner if not for the holiday season. Regardless, everything was strategically planned and executed on time. From a financial standpoint, the payment structure was transparent, with a clear breakdown of what percentage was due and when, based on project milestones. Scott would send a simple notification when a payment was due, but work continued without delay—even before payments were received. There was never any pressure, just a well-managed and trustworthy process. Fortunately, we had the funds and stayed on schedule with our payments. Prior to the basement project, we had already taken on a few other home improvements, including painting the interior and closing off a wall to add closet space. We hired another company for that work, but in hindsight, I wish we had discovered American Home Remodeling sooner to handle those projects as well. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with American Home Remodeling. Their professionalism, organization, and expertise made this project stress-free, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
