"They were great. I recently opened my new suite and needed flooring that wouldn’t ruin the base boards and the carpet. They did just that. They finished in a day and some hours. Also I needed them pretty last minute and he came asap and started working on the floors. It looks amazing. Highly recommend."

"After having been delighted with the Floor Mart's installation of vinyl flooring in two upstairs bathrooms a few years ago, we returned to them when we needed to replace the carpet in our living room and library, as well as the vinyl flooring in our kitchen.  Both are large areas and both required a lot of trimming and fitting.  Once again, we were extremely pleased, beginning with the knowledge of everyone at the showroom, as well as the selection.  We thought the price quoted was fair.  The installers who did the kitchen, as well as the ones who did the carpet, were absolutely amazing.  They were highly professional, hard workers, who were impeccable in their work and in the way they left our house. There wasn't a bit of debris anywhere from their projects.  Looking at the kitchen vinyl and the living room carpet, I can't find any seams, although I know they are there.  These guys are more than good!  Well done, Floor Mart!  You are Number 1 with us!

Carpet Stretching questions, answered by experts

You can use a carpet patch to replace a single section of carpet. You’ll cut out the damaged section and then replace it with a caret patch. The patch should be the same color as the existing carpet. You can also hire a professional carpet repair company to get it done.

Carpet glue is very sticky, but it's not permanent. The glue usually lasts as long as a typical carpet installation, which is five to 15 years. For the best results, you should always use the right type of carpet glue for the area you're using it in. There are carpet glues for high-traffic areas, which are more high-quality and durable than others.

Regular maintenance and professional repairs can extend the life of a carpet.

Carpet tiles are less expensive than traditional carpet. The average cost of carpet installation is $1,800, or $3 to $11 per square foot. In comparison, carpet tiles cost $2.50 to $11 apiece and can often be bought in bulk cartons. Since you can more easily DIY carpet tiles, you may be able to save on installation costs, too.

You may be able to use super glue in a pinch to fix your carpet, but expect the repair to last only a short time. Super glue isn't designed for carpet, so over time, it'll break down, and the carpet piece will move out of place. For the best results, go to the store and grab a bottle of carpet seam glue.
