"They were great. I recently opened my new suite and needed flooring that wouldn’t ruin the base boards and the carpet. They did just that. They finished in a day and some hours. Also I needed them pretty last minute and he came asap and started working on the floors. It looks amazing. Highly recommend."

"I spent $13000 on the job. They also installed everything that I had purchased from them. I used them by accident as they are very near my home. I saw them once when I was passing by their store. I decided to stop by. The gentleman, Jim, was rather informative and really professional. They were very reputable. It was a smaller store, but they had everything that I needed. He gave me a lot of information and I discussed it with my husband. Later, my husband and I went back and we spent a lot of time with them. I still continue to go to them for getting some of my questions answered. This is all new to me; I have never had a new home before. I have a rapport with them. They gave me some extra vinyl, free of cost, to keep on hand as they didn?t have anything left from what they had put on the floor. They spent a lot of time educating me what kind of floors I needed. I felt that they had a large variety of carpeting. They had any style for any area of the house. They had a large selection. It wasn?t overwhelming, though; it was enough. They were a little expensive, but their quality was high as well. I will use them again and I would refer people to them. They are very knowledgeable."

Carpet Stretching questions, answered by experts

When deciding whether to repair or replace your carpet, consider its age, the extent of the damage, and its location. It's often best to replace the entire carpet if the damage is extensive, such as large sections needing replacement, or if it's caused by water, which can lead to mold problems. Similarly, if your carpet is nearing a decade old, replacement is likely the more logical choice. On the other hand, consider repairing your carpet if the damage is localized to one spot, like minor rips or snags, the carpet is still relatively new, or the damage is in a low-traffic area of your home.

You can use a carpet patch to replace a single section of carpet. You’ll cut out the damaged section and then replace it with a caret patch. The patch should be the same color as the existing carpet. You can also hire a professional carpet repair company to get it done.

While it may not always be ideal, you can fix a squeaky floorboard without removing the carpet. Pros use specialized carpet screws and drive them through the carpet into the subfloor, securing floorboards. They may also use nails instead of screws if they suspect the pile will get caught in the screw. While some types of carpet will hide the screws and nails, a low-pile carpet may not.

Maintenance practices include regular vacuuming, prompt spill cleaning, and periodic professional deep-cleaning to remove embedded dirt particles and rejuvenate fibers.

Vacuum regularly, clean spills promptly, and schedule professional deep cleaning annually.
