"They were great. I recently opened my new suite and needed flooring that wouldn’t ruin the base boards and the carpet. They did just that. They finished in a day and some hours. Also I needed them pretty last minute and he came asap and started working on the floors. It looks amazing. Highly recommend."

"They do great work, very precise.  I would suggest they do a full walk through following a job to ensure every thing works correctly, e.g. they nailed our pocket doors closed.  Additionally, the sales guy said they could match our kitchen floor to match the product we picked out.  When they sent the company out to do the staining, we all learned they could not match the color, so we had to spend a lot more money to have everything match.

"We did not use All About Floors, because we have not yet selected a flooring contractor, and are reluctant to use the recommended product.  The gentleman we spoke with was a co-owner, and was very nice, responsive, and knowledgeable.  We visited the show room, and he visited our home.  He was very generous with his time and advice.  He recommended the three main providers of luxury vinyl tile (LVT), but we have come to doubt the products based on information from people who had it installed.  (They did not have it installed by All About Floors.)  We have since discovered an improved LVT product from Shaw Floors, and may contact All About Floors again for an estimate of this product.

"Overall from start to finish we are pleased with the results we received working with Kitchen-Krafters. As with all projects of this size problems surfaced. Thankfully, Roger was able to provide workable solutions. The quality of the work as well as the attention to detail is well above average. The cabinet work was difficult due to the floor plan configuration and turned out very well. The design that Roger developed (along with our input) is a pleasure to work in. The scope of the project included new entry doors, floors, tile and a window.
Roger always returned calls and the best that he could kept the disruption to our life to a minimum.

Carpet Stretching questions, answered by experts

There are a few carpet maintenance tips you’ll want to use to keep your carpet looking brand-new. Make sure you tackle stains immediately, and only use cleaners gentle enough for your carpet's specific fibers. You can even pop area rugs on top of wall-to-wall carpeting to change the look of your space and protect the carpet below.

Hiring a pro to stretch a carpet costs anywhere from $100 to $300, though this price increases if you also task the contractor to remove and replace the furniture from the room. Doing it on your own maxes out at $100, though renting the power stretcher and knee kicker extend the cost in some instances.

Yes, you can revive carpet that’s flattened using household items like an ice cube and stiff brush, a damp cloth and an iron, baking soda and vinegar, and shaving cream. If you want to go all-out, visit a local home improvement store and buy a carpet rake, too. Depending on the state of your carpet, you may need to use more than one of these methods to see results. Keep in mind that you might need to repeat a reviving method more than once.

It is not recommended to install or stretch a carpet without a power stretcher. Skipping essential tools like a power stretcher and a knee kicker will likely result in an improper installation, leaving you with wrinkles, creases, and an unappealing final look. While a knee kicker can provide some limited stretching for thinner carpets, it is not a proper substitute. Attempting to stretch a carpet by hand or with homemade tools can also shorten its lifespan. For the best results, you should buy or rent a stretcher. If you do not want to use a stretcher, it is better to hire a professional for the installation.

You can use a carpet patch to replace a single section of carpet. You’ll cut out the damaged section and then replace it with a caret patch. The patch should be the same color as the existing carpet. You can also hire a professional carpet repair company to get it done.
