"Tony's son came to do the cleaning. He was very polite and did a great job cleaning the carpets and removing the stain I thought were permanent. The carpets look very clean and stain free. I would definitely use this service again!"

"They were great. I recently opened my new suite and needed flooring that wouldn’t ruin the base boards and the carpet. They did just that. They finished in a day and some hours. Also I needed them pretty last minute and he came asap and started working on the floors. It looks amazing. Highly recommend."

"They do great work, very precise.  I would suggest they do a full walk through following a job to ensure every thing works correctly, e.g. they nailed our pocket doors closed.  Additionally, the sales guy said they could match our kitchen floor to match the product we picked out.  When they sent the company out to do the staining, we all learned they could not match the color, so we had to spend a lot more money to have everything match.

"We did not use All About Floors, because we have not yet selected a flooring contractor, and are reluctant to use the recommended product.  The gentleman we spoke with was a co-owner, and was very nice, responsive, and knowledgeable.  We visited the show room, and he visited our home.  He was very generous with his time and advice.  He recommended the three main providers of luxury vinyl tile (LVT), but we have come to doubt the products based on information from people who had it installed.  (They did not have it installed by All About Floors.)  We have since discovered an improved LVT product from Shaw Floors, and may contact All About Floors again for an estimate of this product.

"Called Mastercat Inc to do an inspection of the basement for mold. They found mold in the carpet in the basement. They removed the carpet and cleaned the basement. Very professional and did a very good job."

"The contractor showed up on a Sunday. He was ok, but left and called a few days later to tell me he couldn't do the job. The second contractor you recommended didn't work out either."

"Overall from start to finish we are pleased with the results we received working with Kitchen-Krafters. As with all projects of this size problems surfaced. Thankfully, Roger was able to provide workable solutions. The quality of the work as well as the attention to detail is well above average. The cabinet work was difficult due to the floor plan configuration and turned out very well. The design that Roger developed (along with our input) is a pleasure to work in. The scope of the project included new entry doors, floors, tile and a window.
Roger always returned calls and the best that he could kept the disruption to our life to a minimum.

Carpet Stretching questions, answered by experts

Vacuum regularly, clean spills promptly, and schedule professional deep cleaning annually.

Generally speaking, restretch your carpets once every five years, though this timeframe depends on a number of factors, such as the level of foot traffic in the area. If the carpet looks wrinkled and there are loosened areas on the floor, go for the restretch. If everything looks and feels fine, you are good.

When deciding whether to repair or replace your carpet, consider its age, the extent of the damage, and its location. It's often best to replace the entire carpet if the damage is extensive, such as large sections needing replacement, or if it's caused by water, which can lead to mold problems. Similarly, if your carpet is nearing a decade old, replacement is likely the more logical choice. On the other hand, consider repairing your carpet if the damage is localized to one spot, like minor rips or snags, the carpet is still relatively new, or the damage is in a low-traffic area of your home.

Maintenance practices include regular vacuuming, prompt spill cleaning, and periodic professional deep-cleaning to remove embedded dirt particles and rejuvenate fibers.

Carpet glue is very sticky, but it's not permanent. The glue usually lasts as long as a typical carpet installation, which is five to 15 years. For the best results, you should always use the right type of carpet glue for the area you're using it in. There are carpet glues for high-traffic areas, which are more high-quality and durable than others.
