Customers say: Quick response

"Very good work. They were there on time and cleaned as they went. Based on previous quotes from others, I could have paid a little less. But going strictly off others positive comments on Home Advisor, I chose the Wisconsin Handymen because I chose quality over price. Sometimes you may pay less but have a huge mess to clean up. Even at that, the price was extremely fair. Great experience!! I would recommend them to others."

"Steve was my appliance angel so to speak. During this time of home quarantine, I anxiously needed advice on how to help repair my washer...on a Saturday, during a pandemic. Four others said they cannot help. Not only did Steve take my call and videos of the issue, look up possible solutions and call me back, tell me a link on how to repair it by myself, but he also followed up w/ a call to see if it worked! Come on...who does that anymore? Steve does. And he did it all from his phone, with kindness, no charge. Hire him."

"OUR DRYER DIED TWO DAYS BEFORE HAVING TO GO OUT OF TOWN FOR THE WEEKEND. WE BOUGHT A NEW WASHER AND DRYER ABOUT ABOUT 4PM ONE DAY, AND THEY WERE DELIVERED BY 11AM THE NEXT DAY. I THOUGHT THAT WAS PRETTY NICE. THEY ALSO DELIVER AND REMOVE EXISTING APPLIANCES FOR FREE."

The best deodorizer for a refrigerator is baking soda because it absorbs smells and neutralizes the air. You can also use citrus fruits, oatmeal, vanilla extract, activated carbon, and distilled white vinegar as a deodorizer in your refrigerator. Place one of these deodorizers in a bowl or cup in the back of your fridge to let it absorb odors.

DIY repairs for small appliances are possible for minor or basic issues, provided you have the right tools and safe handling skills. It is important to assess the complexity of the repair before starting. While DIY can be an option, professional services ensure proper diagnostics and long-term reliability.

Disconnect the appliance, clear pathways, and empty contents to facilitate safe and efficient removal.

Small appliances typically include microwaves, toasters, toaster ovens, food processors, blenders, mixers, slow cookers, air fryers, coffee makers, rice cookers, and any other appliance that can sit on your countertop. Major appliances include refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, washers, and dryers. Some people may include HVAC equipment like condensers and air handlers in this category, too. Small appliances are more of a specialty, so there’s a good chance a typical appliance repair company won’t be able to service and repair small appliances.

Practically, everything. However, steam ovens work best with delicate ingredients with high moisture levels, such as vegetables, eggs, porridge, and oatmeal. As long as your oven is big enough, you can also use steam ovens to cook meat, fish, pasta, and even pizzas. They are also a great option for reheating leftovers since they can retain the flavors.
