"Matt was an awesome rep. He came to our home inspected and gave us the quote. When there was an issue later down the road on where the window could be placed because we didn’t know where some of our lines were under ground be came back and reevaluated and came up with a plan. We had to change our entire floor plan for this window but it’s ok it wasn’t there fault it’s all going to work out in the end."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Israel and his team at LIC General Roofing Solutions LLC, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the initial consultation to the final inspection, every aspect of their service radiated professionalism, expertise, and efficiency. First and foremost, Israel's deep knowledge of rubber roofing solutions was evident right from our first conversation. He took the time to thoroughly assess my roofing needs, patiently answering all my questions and addressing any concerns I had. His insights reassured me that I was in capable hands. Moreover, I was particularly impressed by the efficiency with which they completed the job. Despite the complexities involved, Israel and his team worked tirelessly to adhere to the agreed-upon timeline, coming in ahead of schedule. I received other quotes that were thousands more, and quotes saying it would be weeks to get done, Isreal was able to get over 4000ft of roofing done in just over 2 days with his crew. Though the job was completed extremely quickly their unwavering attention to detail, ensured that every aspect of the installation was perfect. What struck me the most was the emphasis they placed on customer satisfaction. Israel's approachable demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate my needs truly made the entire process a breeze. Though there were extra expenses that came up Israel explained the reasoning behind them and took the time to show me and help me come up with ways to minimize the expenses. In conclusion, if you're in need of top-notch rubber roofing solutions, look no further than LIC General Roofing Solutions LLC. Israel and his team are the epitome of professionalism, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in search of quality roofing services. Thank you, Israel, for a job well done!"

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

Home inspections can reveal many different issues that could end up costing buyers thousands of dollars or more post-closing to rectify, so what a buyer is willing to pay for a home largely depends on the findings of the home inspection. Major issues like foundation damage or structural problems could significantly bring down the selling price. A “clean” home inspection that reveals no issues may make the home more enticing to buyers, potentially raising the selling price.

One of the best ways to know your chimney is good to go on any given night is to simply look up into your flue with a flashlight. If you see a thick buildup of creosote—a shiny, dark substance that looks like tar—it’s best to have your fireplace professionally cleaned before you go ahead with the burn. Additionally, having your fireplace professionally inspected once per year can also help increase your peace of mind and keep your family and your home safe.

Inspectors working for the seller on pre-listing inspections can present a conflict of interest, so standard home inspections are usually hired and paid for by the buyer. If the buyer has some negotiating power, they might request that the seller cover the cost (by taking it off the asking price), but this varies on a case-by-case basis. When it comes to home appraisal costs and pre-listing inspections, the seller will naturally have to pay, as these are done before the home is left up for sale.

Long-term exposure increases lung cancer risks. Prolonged homestay individuals and smokers encounter heightened vulnerability and exposure concerns.

Failing to open your flue can lead to serious health hazards if you start a fire because the smoke will back up into your home. Breathing fire smoke, even in relatively small quantities, is bad for human lungs, and smoke can also irritate your nasal passages and eyes. Furthermore, smoke can cause damage to your interior fixtures and furnishings, at the very least leaving an unpleasant smoky smell for a long time. In short: If your flue isn’t open (or you’re not sure if it is or not), don’t start a fire to find out!
