    I wanted a sun room insulated for year-round use and I also needed a solution for some problem stairs in the room. The sun room was likely once a breezeway between the garage and kitchen that someone had enclosed. There were clumsy and dangerous steps between the garage door and the kitchen door. I thought it would help to have the garage door raised level with the kitchen door and place stairs in the garage. This still left stairs in the sun room but they would not have been so awkward. |I am the proud owner of a most spectacular space. My original dining room was too small and claustrophobic. I now have a most inviting combined kitchen AND dining room. I still plan to install an electric fireplace on the wall for ambiance and added warmth in the now large room. |I didn't mention price because it may or may not be what someone else would be willing to pay for the work completed. The contract was followed; I paid extra where additional work was requested

    We received several bids from area builders for our project, including the company that built our house. Mike wasn't the lowest bid, but wasn't anywhere near the highest either. We went with Mike becasue he had some unique ideas that the other builders didn't consider, his bid was reasonable and we felt comfortable with him. The final job was done in time and within the original bid. We are very happy we went with Zehm. Quality work and a beautiful job. Whenever someone comes to our house, they always comment on the porch. I have and continue to recommend Zehm Building Concepts. Funny thing is, a friend of ours had a smaller project done and used the company that was the lowest bid on ours. They regret it

Was also flexible as we weighed out size, location and design of both sunroom and shed. Generally fair priced. Some unexpected delays with sickness, personal time, etc. of his contractors but this is typical with most projects of this size. I'd say the delays numbered in days and not weeks.     To date, the work done by Asher's is about 80% complete. The workmanship and professional attitude of all Asher employees, from sales, office, and installers is impeccable. The siding is complete, and the roof and gutter work, about halfway done. We have observed a fair portion of the work being done. There has never been a corner cut. In fact, during the siding job, a small area of water damage was discovered under a bedroom window, beneath improperly applied tyvek from 18 years ago. Although the material was now dry, the installer cut out that portion of wall and replaced it, before continuing the siding project. My husband and I agree that the men working on all of the projects we've had, complete their work with the utmost precision and pride in their work. It has been an extremely hot and humid summer, and these guys have worked each and every day in accordance with the Asher Enterprises, Inc, standard of excelence that we have counted on. We had one estimate from another roofing company before the project, and we could have saved money using that contractor, but the extra dollars spent have given our home a new look, done to perfection!! We would, and do recommend Asher Enterprises, and will be calling upon them for any future remodeling projects

    It would have been better if I had not met him. My project has been delayed just over a month because he lacked the professionalism and candor needed to tell me he wasn't able to complete a project when he said he would. He gave me a two week start window and not only did he fail to show up, he failed to communicate he would not show up. Then, he reset expectations for this current week. As I write this on Friday, he's again failed not only to show up but to communicate that he's not going to show up. When he did respond to my attempts to call him on Friday of last week and I had not returned his text by Sunday morning, he reached out to me then, asking for clarification of my intent. In other words, he felt 1 day was too long to wait for a response to him. A hard "do not recommend"

Didn't realize it was a sales commission based bid and was going to be a sales pitch. Feel they are a good company who do quality work so no issue there. Just set aside 2-3 hours for first meeting and know they are pricey (worth it tho)
