Brewster and Sons ConstructionI wanted a sun room insulated for year-round use and I also needed a solution for some problem stairs in the room. The sun room was likely once a breezeway between the garage and kitchen that someone had enclosed. There were clumsy and dangerous steps between the garage door and the kitchen door. I thought it would help to have the garage door raised level with the kitchen door and place stairs in the garage. This still left stairs in the sun room but they would not have been so awkward. |I am the proud owner of a most spectacular space. My original dining room was too small and claustrophobic. I now have a most inviting combined kitchen AND dining room. I still plan to install an electric fireplace on the wall for ambiance and added warmth in the now large room. |I didn't mention price because it may or may not be what someone else would be willing to pay for the work completed. The contract was followed; I paid extra where additional work was requested.- Patricia W.

Zehm InspectionsWe found Mike Zehm very easy to work with. He listened to our ideas, made suggestions, and did not complain when we changed our minds numerous times on details, even when it meant reworking plans. If we needed two hours to discuss the project, he stayed two hours. In addition, we were impressed that crews actually showed up when they were supposed to show up, and did a nice job of cleaning up afterward. His prices were reasonable and fair, and he did everything he could to meet our expectations. We definitely would hire Zehm Building Concepts again, and plan to.- Debra F.

Zehm InspectionsProvided great suggestions on where to place windows, etc. as well as decorative advice (door knobs, trim, etc.). Was also flexible as we weighed out size, location and design of both sunroom and shed. Generally fair priced. Some unexpected delays with sickness, personal time, etc. of his contractors but this is typical with most projects of this size. I'd say the delays numbered in days and not weeks. Finished product looks great and we are very happy we chose Mike.- Cade H.

Extreme RenovationsThe experience was terrific. They were flexible with changes that were made throughout the project, made recommendations to ensure the deck would be strong, attractive and user-friendly. Crew was tidy and conscientious. They worked hard, sometimes in icky weather and did a great job finishing the project in a timely manner. I knew I didn't have to be on site to oversee everything and make sure they were doing what they were supposed to do -- I trusted them and they delivered. Replacement and installation went very well. The workmanship was excellent and replacement of windows went in a timely manner. I did not lose hardly any heat at all as windows were replaced in February. The City inspector was also very impressed with Lindus Construction workmanship.

The siding was done 15 years ago and it still looks fabulous. We recently put an addition on our home and again they put on the siding. We have also had them do some windows. I couldn't be happier. Scot was able to do so many small projects and also help me prepare for larger ones. He was able to prep my kitchen for my new counters by removing the 50 year old laminate on the backsplash and then did an AMAZING job on the installing the new backsplash tile. He also replaced the outlets so they matched. On other visits he adjusted my screen doors so they closed properly, patched the plaster in my bathroom ceiling so the painter could finish up their job, and re-caulked my tub. Scot is my go to person for all my handyman work. I have 2 additional jobs that Scot will be working on in the future.
