It is hard to give a review of someone that when they are complete feel like part of the family! As someone who used to work in the construction industry they are unbelievable professional and are there to help! They went above and beyond to make sure not only our roof replacement went well but made sure the little details were taken care of without coming back for most likely justified extra cost because they were already there. They are fair and explain everything very well. One observation that I had while they were here was the Owner Scott came by the jobsite. He knew all of the laborers by name and was bilingual to be able to communicate with his team. I think we should all support local businesses with leaders that treat their employees with respect and kindness. And it is obvious this leadership gets translated into their work. They are an amazing company and if I have a home improvement or need an emergency repair there isn't anyone else I will allow in my house after using Frey

Adam and Pat replaced the screen doors of our two porches. We are very happy with their work and we will certainly ask them to return for future home repair and improvement projects.

We are so happy with the results. The screened in porch is our constant retreat now,. The workmen were wonderful and so very tidy. Our only complaint was that they didn't start as early ( mid June) as we had hoped due to weather delays. We would definitely recommend this reputable company!

We found Kool View at a builders expo. Had the sales man out to discuss the 3-Season porch conversion. The quality of work was very high. After they started their work we added on additional services. Work was done very professionally and the crew was a pleasure to have in our house. They always worked in a very systematic way to keep our house warm and insulated despite the huge holes they needed to cut for the new windows and doors. They found and would replace ant or water damaged wood without asking and without pointing out to us what a great job they were doing. They replaced it because it was the right way to do things. The main carpenter we had on our particular job, in addition to being a very skilled carpenter, was a lot of fun and a great guy. I plan on asking for Monte for any of our future carpentry needs

I shopped around with all the local sun room distributors when I decided to add a sun room to my home. Kool View was very professional and responsive to my needs and vision for this home addition. The cost was a good value, as I am confident that this job was done correctly and the room is first class. Kool View offered many more options in choosing construction materials, colors, design ideas, etc. than any of the other businesses I visited. Their construction was completed on time, the craftsmen were excellent - skilled and very easy to work with. I now have two french doors (air lock entrance), 12 x 8 foot sun room, a relocated entrance to my garage, and a new stoop/deck area outside the sun room. This three season room has heat, A/C, multiple electrical outlets including in the tile floor. The three glass walls slide open to become a screen porch and the glass ceiling lets me star gaze or watch the snow and rain storms in my protected enclosure. I have twice had my home appraised since this addition and both appraisals increased in value over the investment in my new addition

Everything was first-rate all the way. Deck was reinforced and design was accommodated smoothly into our house, but at a "unit" price that was lower than total custom work. Work was performed as scheduled. Owner and workmen asked us preferences on small items all along the way, instead of just "assuming" things. Cleaned up nicely every day after work. Very few callbacks, but they were handled quickly and professionally. First rate all the way

It went well. We love the finished product. The job took a bit longer than expected due to rainy weather but they pulled out all the stops to get it as done as much as possible for a big party we were having. They were professional and pleasant to work with.

Al came to our house, took measurements and gave us a quote for two different quality levels of windows. Both were offered at a pretty attractive discount, though I suspect that had something to do with the economy. There were lots of options for levels of finish, and we ended up doing everything--heated tile floor, cedar siding on the walls and ceiling, etc. It should be noted that we had to procure the tile and the ceiling fan, etc. In addition, there was an allowance for HVAC and for electric, and we paid the contractors separately for any extras here. We paid our deposit and ordered the windows. Construction started on time, and proceeded on schedule. The quality of the work is excellent. We're very happy with the space

Koolview provided a free estimate and free design for a Four Season Victorian Conservatory Sunroom. They explained the project in detail and gave us a 3D design of the completed project. I was provided with references of past customers. When I met with the people they worked with the customers had only great things to say about their sunroom and the project team. This was especially appreciated after my bad experience with a previous contractor that we left. Everyone working on the project was great: great technical knowledge, professional and genuinely nice guys. Easy to work with, everything went smoothly. The guys took time to explain different options as well as the different scenarios that could happen while performing the work. They took the time to clean up after being done. Excellent work and excellent service! The project far exceeded our expectations! Thanks Koolview team

Kool View looked like they were doing a good job and everything. They were going to do the construction using a different technique and we just kind of like what we are doing with a different vendor better. We had them put in a sun room many years ago and they did an excellent job at that point and that's one of the reason why we actually had them bid on another project. They did it promptly, only there was a little hold-up with the cement contractor.Their bid looks good and everything, we just decided not to go with them. It wasn't that we had a bad experience with them or anything; we have to decide who we're going to go with. They were going to charge a little more but not that much more. The bid was competitive. The guy that came out and talked with us was impressive. It was well presented. Some contractors, they say yeah and when they come back and present it, it wasn't exactly what we wanted. They were very responsive to anything that we suggested. We called people that they had done projects with and they were happy with the results. They come whan theyt say they're going to come. They're all very pleasant

"Sunroom is an addition to the house, off the dining room, about 4 x 4 sqm Did a wonderful job, people were reliable, very friendly, kept us informed what they were doing and when. Alan, the owner , came frequently to check the work. We only hired our own electrician. Sunroom looks great. Took only a little longer than we thought, but was due to weather related back orders

"They were thorough and professional. We thought that the design that we wanted built made us not go with the company."

"This was a large and multi-layered repair process. The Paul Davis team was excellent to work with. Each one of their contractors was efficient and so easy to work with. They know their business and conduct themselves professionally and with great courtesy. I am delighted that the repairs are completed and I am grateful that this professional group did the work.

"Parks has ALWAYS performed top-notch work for us with the highest level of professional standards; always done competently, respectfully, and courteously. The work has always been at very reasonable pricing with absolutely NO surprises. Also, it seems that we always find one or two additional things we'd like them to do while at our home; no problem--they just adjust and get the additional work completed with a smile. We trust them to quickly respond to our calls for help and they have never, ever disappointed us. For this recent service call, they had to come back three time and we were NEVER billed for a trip charge.

"Very well-good coordination and easy to work with. Professional."
"Mark was excellent to work with. He returned calls and emails promptly. He communicated clearly. If he said he would work at specific times and on specific days, he showed up and did so. Our porches are wonderful. We were pretty flexible about our wishes, and Mark crafted appealing designs for our large front porch and small side space. He pays close attention to details. We will definitely hire him again for carpentry needs.
Welcome to Graceful! We are a leading builder that specializes in patios, decks, swimming pools, demolition, excavation, hardscapes, drainage solutions, remodeling, and even snow plowing!
"All things considered, it went very well. In today’s world, it’s a small victory just getting a contractor to respond to an inquiry, let alone battle the supply chain issues, and the ongoing worker shortage.
Josh from Graceful was a pleasure to work with, his workers were prompt and knowledgeable, and eager to please.
Graceful is one of those companies where you’ll probably find the owner working as a crew member to see that things are done right, and on-time.
Fully recommend.

"This project had many moving parts. Some of the project cost included temporarily moving electrical, HVAC and plumbing to be able to put in new beams, columns, footings etc. Some gas lines had to be re-done, and there were surprises like some unexpected knob & tube electrical wiring discovered inside a heating duct. We also made use of Rick’s extensive knowledge of older homes and remodeling to explore future work on our 100+ year old wood frame home. First, an important note - not all contractors have enthusiasm about working on older homes. Rick genuinely enjoys problem solving and fixing older homes. And Rick wants to walk away knowing things were done well to satisfy the homeowner, and that problems have been resolved. Rick handles complexities and trade-offs extremely well – an important reason a homeowner needs a general contractor (as well as his ability to mobilize good subcontractors timely & efficiently). Rick was patient, helped us explore options and most importantly – when a something came up during construction (as always does on older homes) – worked to find the best & most cost effective solutions. Rick has excellent subcontractors with whom he has good ongoing working relationships. He is transparent in his bidding process, breaking out the sub-contractor costs and his general contractor add-on. He and his subcontractors were responsive to adjustments as needed for new discovered problems (like our rusted basement drain pipes and a disruption in a load path that required extra reinforcement with steel plates to properly transfer the loads). As needed, Rick conferred with the structural engineer & subcontractors to make sure any adjustments or modifications to the initial plans were structurally sound & would be acceptable to the city building inspectors. We have noticed that 2nd floor doors in the dormer lines now close properly (better supported by the basement structural reinforcement below) and the sags in the first floor wood floor at the dormer load paths have been fixed (Rick and Dennis Krizan came back several times to adjust & monitor until the floor was level). We also have a more functional basement layout (water heater no longer next to wood columns and is away from the chimney) and have eliminated problems like the underfloor tunnel & the rotted underfloor plumbing drain piping. Note - All of the sub-contractors were excellent. That said, the sub-contractor who did the structural and concrete work, Dennis Krizan, stood out. He went the extra mile to solve problems discovered during construction.

"The installation went fine. Arrived in the time frame. Although the price was a bit high. Windows look nice. Areas were clean when they left. They failed to drop off the trim (that was to used around the windows) so we could paint or stain them. The way it is now the trim stands out."
