"We were trying to get our house ready to sell when we we discovered our hot tub had developed a leak during a few seasons of dormancy. Doing an internet search revealed our options and the roundabout costs... GASP! We feel very lucky to have found Mark and Lakestone Field Services. Not only did Mark make us feel at ease, he also cut our costs almost in half! Within 24 hours our hot tub was off our deck and in the back of his truck... and he took our broken-down washer too! Thank you Mark and Thank you Lakestone Field Services!"

Small jobs welcome

I have spent the last few years working for a couple of the larger garbage collection companies in the Madison area. I enjoy the work, and decided to go out on my own and bet on myself rather than depending on someone else. Evamsville Junk Removal is a true family run business; my wife assists me with the business side, and my son assists me on site when he is not in school.

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Food grease, soap buildup, paper products, and tree roots often cause serious clogs.

No, you can’t throw your trash in any dumpster you come across—in fact, that’s considered illegal dumping, and you could be fined for it. Use your own household trash cans, and rent a dumpster for a large volume of waste. Alternatively, take it to the landfill yourself or hire a trash hauling service.

Garbage removal is a project you can do yourself, but hiring a professional to get the job done is often worthwhile. Depending on the type and amount of junk, you could be looking at a very labor-intensive job, dumping fees, dumpster charges, and potentially unsafe working conditions. Hiring a professional junk removal company not only saves you time and energy and keeps you safe, but it also means you don’t have to worry about carting the junk away or coordinating a dumpster and getting a permit for it.

Concrete disposal costs between $0.50 and $2 per square foot of concrete in most cases, but the price can fall outside of that range depending on a few factors. Some of the most important cost factors include the following:

  • Amount of concrete you need hauled away

  • Distance from a proper dump site

  • Whether or not your old concrete can be recycled

  • Add-on services, like concrete demolition and site prep

  • Local dumping costs

Yes, many companies recycle concrete, metal, and other materials to minimize landfill waste.
