"We were trying to get our house ready to sell when we we discovered our hot tub had developed a leak during a few seasons of dormancy. Doing an internet search revealed our options and the roundabout costs... GASP! We feel very lucky to have found Mark and Lakestone Field Services. Not only did Mark make us feel at ease, he also cut our costs almost in half! Within 24 hours our hot tub was off our deck and in the back of his truck... and he took our broken-down washer too! Thank you Mark and Thank you Lakestone Field Services!"

Small jobs welcome

I have spent the last few years working for a couple of the larger garbage collection companies in the Madison area. I enjoy the work, and decided to go out on my own and bet on myself rather than depending on someone else. Evansville Junk Removal is a true family run business; my wife assists me with the business side, and my son assists me on site when he is not in school.

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Several types of items aren't allowed in roll-off dumpsters. First of all, hazardous materials and hazardous liquids are a no-go. This includes asbestos, oil, wet paint and other materials. Other banned items include batteries, electronics with lithium batteries, propane tanks, tires, and appliances with refrigerants. Some areas have shifting requirements (for instance, certain locations do not allow mattresses), so check with your local regulatory agency.

How you dispose of excess concrete depends on the amount you have left over. Since concrete hardens quickly, it's wise to have a disposal plan before starting your project. For small amounts, you can divide the extra concrete into manageable chunks. Because concrete isn't considered hazardous waste, these smaller pieces can often be placed in a dumpster. For larger quantities, you can rent a dumpster from a company that specializes in concrete disposal or take the material to a landfill or transfer station. It is important to call your preferred location first to confirm they accept concrete. Additionally, check with your municipality to see if it offers recycling services for solid concrete.

To take advantage of any deals on ordering gravel in bulk, it can also be beneficial in the long run to work on other gravel projects you plan to complete someday. These may include filling in a gravel driveway, building a patio, constructing a fire pit area , planning a garden walkway, or using stone instead of mulch in your flower beds.

Professionals are trained in identifying hazardous materials and utilize industry-approved methods for safe handling and disposal. They adhere to regulatory frameworks to protect health and the environment, ensuring all materials are disposed of safely and responsibly.

They provide efficient waste disposal, comply with local regulations, and handle large debris safely, reducing environmental hazards.
