"This past winter I experienced severe ice damming that ended up caused water to leak into my house and ruin the lower level ceilings below my shed dormer. The water was coming in due to improper placement and installation of my gutter apron and ice and water shield, which I also had fixed this summer, but the root cause was the ice damming in the first place.
I had blown in cellulose installed about 3 years ago when I purchased my home (built in 1956) and did not properly air seal my attic or any of the areas we did re-insulate. After doing a lot of research and figuring out the problems and solutions, I knew I needed the spray foam insulation and properly air seal my attic and lower roof deck. I researched the options for doing this myself as well as the average costs of having the work the work done by a professional.
I then looked on Angie's List for some local options to get some quotes and see if I could keep this project within my set budget and get quality work at the same time. Dason and Thermal Comfort surpassed my expectations on all fronts.
Dason came over to look at my situation and was able to work with me to keep me within my budget, but also get everything done that I needed - we were able to discuss what I could do myself and what they could do. He was able to set me up with a guy to remove all of the blown in cellulose from my attic and store in my garage so that I could re-install it after the spray foam work was done. He also was able to get me in contact with a contractor to help me with the removal and re-installation of the drywall in my house. 
Everything was handled very professionally, very punctually, and all within my budget. 
In all of the house projects that I have done since I purchased this fixer upper, I have never had an experience go this well and if I would have had the knowledge of Thermal Comfort and the proper way to air seal and insulate when I first started, I would have used them much earlier! I will definitely use them again if I have any other future needs for their services and recommend them to anyone looking for insulation work or just an upgrade to their homes energy efficiency.

"After the hailstorm in early June in southern Wisconsin the storm chasers were out in full force. I did not want to go with any of them so I did my own research and found Elite Exteriors and am very glad I did! Ryan came out within days to give me a very fair estimate for a new roof (with extended warranty since they are a GAF certified installer), James Hardie siding, and downspouts. After looking over the damage he said he would have an estimate to me in a few days and on the third day I received a very detailed estimate (at this time I had been waiting for other estimates from a couple other contractors for a couple weeks). Ryan was amazing to work with - he gave recommendations for colors, sent us addresses so we could look at those colors on houses he had done, and was extremely responsive. If I ever had questions or concerns, Ryan got back to me the same night or the next day at the latest. This continued through the whole process. His employees were great as well. Karl was responsive with roofing questions/concerns (anything I had questioned, no matter how small, he made it right), Jeremy with the siding and Manuel, who did all of the siding, was amazing. Our house got a complete make-over with quality materials and my wife and I are extremely happy with all of the work (we have gotten many compliments from neighbors too). "My siding is unique. It is masonite, tempered hardboard. I have never seen it before and neither has anyone else younger. It was installed in 1956 when I was born. Was great for 60 yrs. Now the original coating is gone so it ought to go. It is brittle and hard. the holes and plugs are ugly. Not their fault. There is some off-gassing in open areas where it came into unsealed areas. A bit chemical. Again, not their fault. As for value, I cannot answer at this time. It is Oct. 8. I will be able to reply more accurately in March 2023. For the most I am pleased. Why did we build houses in the upper Midwest for 100+ yrs with NO insulation Coal and OIl were cheap?"
