We wanted to squeeze in some more work at our house before he got too busy with other customers' projects. The additional work included the door replacements, as well as partial updates of the bathrooms and basement. He is an HVAC expert, so he also gave great advice on how to maintain and extend the life of our older HVAC system and other mechanicals. His advice is saving us a lot of money. John does such terrific, fairly priced work, we would totally have gone with JDC for full updates of the bathrooms and basement, but we didn't have the finances. So we decided to go forward with partial updates that really changed the 2 bathrooms and basement, while allowing us to stay within our budget. We're grateful to John for these secondary projects--and his ideas for them--because they have given us a lot more living space, and have made the bathrooms much more pleasant to use. We recently purchased the home in Oct. 2022 and we initially had a 3-5 year timeline for improving the kitchen, bathrooms, and basements. But John shortened this timeline down to a 2-month time frame (around 35 days of actual work--there were a couple of delays on materials that slowed us down). We moved in a week ago and are loving it! In sum, I strongly recommend JDC for home improvement projects. John is highly skilled and has integrity and tons of expertise and experience.
