Alonso Landscape Service LLCI'd recommend this crew. I wanted to get the lawn re-seeded earlier in the spring so that I didn't have to water all the time and they came out within a week or two of giving me a quote. The price was right and the lawn looks pretty good. There are some patchy spots, but that's to be expected--sometimes the seed just doesn't take.- David Z.

They have great customer service and are always very responsive to any questions we have. The crews are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They also did a small firepit/patio project for us a few years ago that turned out great. Carrington Lawn & LandscapeThey are a small company, and as such their responsiveness can be a little slow sometimes (e.g. during storms, if you have branches fallen and you call them immediately and you're put on their schedule for a day but they won't be able to come). Also, they are a little expensive - their pricing for mowing is higher than others' and they tend to charge for a service more when other companies wouldn't. For example, if the grass is a little taller because of seeding they did earlier in the year, they will charge you extra for double mowing. While prices are not unreasonable, they are certainly not a deal either. Nevertheless, their work is top notch on most occasions and despite a few minor issues, we are very happy which is why we continue to work with them.- Peter S.

Carrington Lawn & LandscapeThe crew was professional, hard working, polite and punctual. They knew what they were doing and it showed. The result was better than we expected. They put in extra time and effort when needed and didn't complain when things didn't go the way they had planned. Carrington administrators kept in touch during the project and made sure everything went well. I highly recommend this business and its workers. This is the type of business where it is easy for things to turn out less than ideal and Carrington was just the opposite. Things went very well. Operator made double passes for aeration which included several steep embankments. I felt more seed was needed on one area that was more bare and the application was made the next day at no additional cost. The operator was very professional and provided good advice about subsequent care of the new seeds and grass through next Spring. Very satisfied, would use again!- marie m.

They came over the next day after I asked for an estimate - provided me the estimate the next day after some discussion a revised (lower) bid was made over the phone (mutual changes). They arrived 2 days later and completed the work in one day. It looks great and it actually is better than before. Matt did a great job!!!

Realized a bit later in the mowing season that I needed to find someone to mow my lawn for the rest of the summer. Called Barnes and they were out to give me an estimate AND managed to fit me into their mowing schedule right away even though there had been several rainy days. Always showed up and mowed in a variety of patterns. Lawn always looked great.

Matthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

Business must be booming because I've contacted them multiple times for this quote. Came to the house, no quote after a week. It's been 3 going on 4 weeks?! Why? I was paying in cash, no hassle with loans etc. Simple work, nothing extravagant. They just don't seem to care.

In October of 2014, I called Brad Kirch to get a quote for landscaping our soggy yard to improve drainage. Brad explained how to build a slope, and thoroughly explained all of the details, at my request. We would have happily hired Brad at that time, but Brad was booked. Brad encouraged our family to tackle this job our self because it was straightforward. And he was right. We did the work ourselves. It was inexpensive and uncomplicated. Brad was great at both listening and advising. I'd hire him for any professional landscaping we might want done in the future.
