Keyman is a family-owned business out of Verona. There are currently 11 licensed and certified technicians employed. We strive to be the best, not the biggest. We offer the following services: Fertilizaton/Weed control, Organic fertilization, aeration, mosquito program, grub control, Japanese beetle control, Round up spray, Perimeter Pest control, Mole bait control, Tree/shrub fertilization and Emerald Ash bore tree injection.

We were very happy with the services provided all summer - the fertilizer and weed control that Keyman provided made our lawn look great. That said, at the end of the summer we opted for aeration. We knew that we had told them we had an electric fence when we first requested service through their online form, and so expected they would communicate with us about when the aeration would be done so we could mark our fence. Nope. We came home to an aerated lawn and a destroyed electric fence. Keyman asked us to call a specific electric fence installer to ask about how much a repair would cost. We were told that a repair would not be a viable solution and so full replacement would be required. We told Keyman this information and they indicated that we would be required to pay the full replacement cost since "we didn't tell them about our fence." We will not be using their services again.

"[Member Name Removed] We are very sorry about your experience with Keyman. We did make every attempt possible to rectify the situation. Keyman had the owner of Dog Guard come out to look at the invisible fence to see how much it would cost to fix. Keyman was notified by Dog Guard that the invisible fence was not put in by a professional and it was not to specifications. After reviewing all the email correspondence between us, we would be happy to discuss this further with the possibility of crediting some of the expense incurred with installing a new invisible fence by a professional."

Trees and shrubs look fabulous - they were in trouble before bringing in Keyman. Extremely pleased with that service. Lawn looks good too. Great value for the price.

I had given up on having a satisfactory lawn. Keyman has a five step program, that is, five applications at $50 per application.
Close to the end of my first year using their service, my lawn is healthier, thicker, more satisfactory than I ever expected.
Their representative informed me in detail about their work on my lawn, did the work when they said it would be done.
They deserve an A+ for every for every question.

We have used Keyman Lawncare for several seasons and are completely satisfied. They provide fertiilization & weed control beginning in early Spring thru late Fall. In addition, they also have provided pest (insect) control which has been extremely effective in eliminating a fairly extensive creepy bug problem we had (earwigs & box elder bugs).
Communication is always quick and thorough....for example, recently they worked around schedules of visiting children to ensure spraying would not be done anytime close to when young visitors would be here. They always make sure to contact us when they spray for insects to ensure we're home to close up the house for a short period of time.
Would highly recommend!

Our lawn looks great. They did recommend a larger mole treatment, so we paid an extra $133, but so far so good, no moles.

On an annual basis they provide fertilizer, weed deterrent, and whatever else is needed for the lawn. They will De-thatch or aerate your lawn if you think it needs to be done. No hard sell! They utilize dry products for the most part, which I prefer. They are very willing to work with their customers to get the best lawns possible. Whenever they do any service they leave notes suggesting mowing heights, watering, etc. I have discussed issues with the Technician on a couple of occasions and they are very knowledgeable, and can explain conditions in terms that are very understandable to a "lay" person.
I will continue to use Keyman.
