"Mad City Windows showed up on time (actually a little early). They went to work immediately. In 2 hours they had pulled out 5 old windows and installed the new triple pane windows. In 3 more hours they insulated all 5 and installed the trim over the insulation. 5 hours total from start to finish. "Had an old fixture above kitchen sink go kaput (fluorescent starter disintegrated), so Cardinal came out and offered LED alternatives (two provided, brought on-hand from supply warehouse). Also fixed a switched outlet that had shorted out. Great work done, nice alternatives for the LED light, and switched outlet was wired to be always-on for one socket and switched for the other -- better than it was before at no additional cost. Later I called to ask the exact serial and model number of the LED light because the papers left did not state it. Not only did I get an email a couple hours later with the model/serial, the tech included the detailed documentation for the fixture so if anything goes wrong I can likely fix it myself next time. The tech who did the work also applied a 10% off discount card for me with no extra hassle, saving me close to $100 on the work."

My elderly mother missed a payment or two because no reminder was ever sent. When we tried to resolve the issue, Anthony (Tony) L. was extremely aggressive on the phone. Tony L. insisted we would need to pay $3,000 to recertify the work. When we asked about installment payments, he said ?No.? When we asked if they could set up automatic withdrawals to prevent future missed payments, he again said ?No,? even while boasting that they are a national company?apparently one that can?t manage automatic billing. When my elderly mother mentioned contacting the BBB, he threatened to sue her. He then made repeated calls to me and threatened to ?make trouble? with my employer. It is impossible to recommend a company that tolerates this kind of behavior from one of its service managers. Avoid this company."
