"The tank for the well pump inside the house ruptured. They came out, and assesed the problem, and replaced the tank same day with a new one, as well as replaced some minor plumbing around the tank. he then flushed and cleaned all the plumbing throughout the house to make sure all of the black material from inside the tank had been flushed through the syste, The only problem I had with the project is the installer did not fully clean up after the project resulting in water that had leaked during the installation on the basement floor. Since it had gone through the pump prior to leaking there water was black from the inside of the tank and very difficult to clean."

Customers say: Quality work

"Quick and easy. I've used him before because of great service. Already had everything because my other one broke and drained all over the floor. Probably would have been at least 3-4 hours if I was replacing one that broke because of just not functioning."

"Getting a walk in tub is expensive no matter who you use. My experience thus far is with installation only and I must say my install went great. It has been over a month and no issues with my tub so I cannot comment on repair process with American Standard."

"Service was timely and professional.  He had to support the roof over my porch while he took out the rotten post and replaced it. I had picked out a wrap for the post which he put on but then called me to talk about my options because he was not satisfied with the way it turned out.  The problem was that the post wrap that I  had picked out and purchased wasn't what I had been told it was. We went back to his original idea of how to wrap the post and stain it and everything turned out great. He made sure everything was sealed so no water could get under the post and cause the rotting I had with the first post.  I learned I should have listened to him in the first place because he knew what he was talking about from experience.  Very satisfied with his work and willingness to work with me.  I will keep him in mind for future service."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

Whether converting a tub to a shower is worth it depends on your personal circumstances and priorities. For many, a shower is a safer option that reduces the risk of slip-and-fall accidents, making it a valuable upgrade. It can also be a worthwhile conversion if a shower is more practical for your lifestyle and you rarely use the tub. However, there are potential downsides to consider. The cost, which can range from $1,200 to $8,000, can be a deterrent. Additionally, if you have young children, a bathtub is often easier for bathing them. Finally, removing the only bathtub in a home can potentially lower its resale value in the eyes of some buyers.

Acrylic bathtubs can last up to 30 years without major issues if they receive the right care and maintenance. They can last even longer but might scratch or stain as they age. The expected longevity is a major factor when investing in a new tub. Cast-iron tubs are the longest-lasting option.

Acrylic tubs are extremely durable and rarely chip or crack. Even when frequently used, tubs made with this material are largely resistant to damage. However, damage may occur as the tub ages. They can also crack from damage from heavy objects and cleaners or a lack of support.

Yes. Common materials for Roman tubs are acrylic, fiberglass, cast iron, and stone resin. The choice you make can depend on various factors, including weight, cost, durability, style, heat retention, and aesthetics. Ultimately, it really depends on your space to determine the best option.

The most common type of tub is the alcove; most bathtubs are shower and tub combinations. Many suburban homes feature these as the default option because they allow the flexibility for users to take a bath or a shower—a notable benefit for those with pets and young kids.
