"The process went good and from the sales process to the finished product. The windows needed extra trim and were not standard size and they were able to adjust and did a great job making them fit. They were efficient and timely and all my windows were done in a day. We are very pleased!"

"Antonio and his guys at A&M are total professionals - remodeled our entire cabin in three months at a reasonable rate. The updates and communication were timely and the finished work exceeded my expectations in every way - which is difficult to do - we are sticklers for detail. I still can't believe how lucky we were to find A&M on Angi app."

"Excellent - I ended up hiring someone to help with shopping and finishing piece - waste of time and money. Jill's service was by far the most useful and best value in my decorating process.

Garages questions, answered by experts

There are several reasons garage door cables can come off multiple times. The most common reason is that the springs have too much or too little tension and require adjusting. Other causes include track alignment issues that keep the door from operating correctly or smoothly. A damaged winding drum or obstructions in the cable's way can also cause it to come loose.

The level of insulation is determined by both the material and the thickness of the door. Some garage door materials (such as wood) have natural insulating capabilities, while other materials (such as metal) do not. No matter the material, two-layer and three-layer garage doors have a higher R-value than single-layer garage doors, as insulation is fitted between the panels.

You can expect your seal to last anywhere from 1 to 5 years. Several factors affect this—material, frequency of use, and the weather. For example, seals made from high-quality rubber are built to withstand the elements and can go the distance with a little TLC. If your door sees a lot of action or faces extreme heat or cold, the seal could wear out more quickly. Regular maintenance—like cleaning and lubrication—can make your seal last longer. And while it’s rare, a professionally installed seal on a smooth floor can potentially last up to 10 years.

When you’re painting a garage floor, it’s best to use a combination of rollers and brushes. You’ll want to start with a brush, making a border around the edges where the floor meets the wall. From there you can use a roller, though some people also like to do the entire first coat with a brush because it’s easier to work the paint into the textured concrete.

Christmas lights and decorations are prone to heat and humidity damage, so keep this in mind if you store them in the garage. Put the lights in plastic bins with tight-fitting lids to keep moisture out to keep them safe until next year.
