Department of Energy grant to study the "honeycomb" concept of window insulation. In 1982 we were granted a patent on our very own "Seal-A-Shade" product. We also began selling passive solar rooms. "When Mike came out to give me a quote, he told and told me he would get back to me in a week and could probably finish part of the work in the next two weeks and start the full remodel within a month.
