Most went very well. One electrical project was actually worse after they tried to fix it.

Very well. Very pleased. Just wish they didn't live so far away; or I would use them more!!!

The gutters got cleaned, but the debris was just dumped next to the house and splattered all over the side of the house. The storm door was installed upside down, and we've had issues with it ever since not closing properly.

Doug responded promptly, came by to look at the house, quoted me a reasonable price and then came and did the job well. He was willing to fit us in during a thaw in January. Everything went great, and I will definitely use his service again.

They did a great job. Quick fast and efficient.

Perfectly ! They cleaned out all the gutters then they cleaned up all the mess that flew out of the gutters. All this with a smile. Great Guys ! I'll hire them again next year.

I was very impressed with Doug's Handyman Service. They came on time, finished within the 2 hours they estimated, and the price was as expected and cheaper than most competitors. They were very nice and professional over the phone and in person. They gave me options for materials, allowed me to choose the fan I wanted, and explained extra prices for fancier fan options and expenses for possible mold removal (thankfully there was no mold!). Cleanup was a bit lacking, but was pretty typical of any construction crew. Four months and several severe thunderstorms later, and everything still works great with no leaks. Overall, they were great and I'd hire them again!

It took weeks to get a part and then they left the part in. They told me that the part they ordered didn't work, I needed a new refrigerator and then they left the brand new part in. Why would you do that, unless you want to charge someone for parts they didn't need. I just don't understand why that went on. Why didn't they take those parts back out if I needed a new refrigerator? They didn't do anything to my refrigerator so why would I be keeping them? I had a pretty rotten experience plus it took like 8 weeks just to get my refrigerator checked out, and I couldn't use the one Angie's List gave me because they did not work on the Samsung refrigerator. They have given me a different list at one point when I had called, and they gave me a couple of people, but when I called them, they did not work on Samsung. They told me that not very many people work on Samsung refrigerators so they gave me a recommendation of 2 people. I looked up and I saw that they are with Angie's List so I decided to use them, which I'm sorry I did. They were terrible. They just run off big orders for these boards that they were going to try. One was $180 and the other was $200-something, and those were the boards that they left. It took them about 2 weeks to get the boards for me and to schedule time to put them in which I thought was really ridiculous amount of time seeing how they are an emergency person to contact. Their price was high. He was going to charge me $50 just to come out here extra. I didn't know what he was comparing it to but it was like 12 miles and if I could have gotten someone from Madison, it would have been 12 miles. They wanted to charge me $50 for that, just to come 1 trip here. I thought that was really ridiculous. They told me that they were going to give my insurance information they needed and they didn't give the insurance what they needed. They gave them what they felt like giving them which wasn't what they needed. I don't think there was any quality of work. Their responsiveness was terrible. Their punctuality was okay. The guy was going to be late and he did call me to tell me that. I'll never use them again.

It went real good. It was good quality, they were very prompt.

I liked that they were prompt, they were neat and they were thorough. There were two of them. One was better than the other. My interaction with them was good. The work was okay. One guy was really good and the other guy was less good. I would recommend that they should communicate better and put in engineered flooring better.

I called and left a message for them giving a brief explanation of what we wanted.  A couple of hours later, I got a call from them asking for our address.  Doug was very flexible in setting up a time that worked for both of us.  When the date arrived, he was right on time.  Quite a pleasant surprise considering cable companies and phone companies give you a 4 hour window and then are usually very very late.  Anyway, Doug got right to work and was able to reconnect our refrigerator with no trouble.  He then got to work on the dishwasher.  That took him a little longer but he was able to get it all reconnected and put back together.
Doug was very friendly and courteous.  I'm very pleased with the service and will call on him again when something else comes up.

Doug and Cory are both so kind and helpful. They replaced our sink and faucet. They arrived on time and went to it. The old sink was out in a flash and the new one installed, cleaned and looks fantastic. Initially I was some missing some of the pieces necessary to complete the installation of the sink. No problem, they were able to provide them from their stock in the truck. Then they advised me on the tile and trim for the backsplash. Cory visited our local building supply store and called with additional information and suggestions. After some texting with him I hopped on line and confidently ordered the trim and the grout. They also installed our tile backsplash throughout the kitchen. We highly recommend them.

they were on time and did what I asked of them...only hiccup was that the bathroom exhaust fan I had purchased was too big...so Doug instructed me to get a smaller one...I did that...and called him...several times...I left several fone messages...and I have gotten zero response...I am moving on to a different person

On time, service as promised. Cleaned up after the job. No complaints.

He called me first thing this morning, was here on time at one and done by 3:00 or so. Very personable and professional, glad I called him. He is coming back on another day to work on stain in driveway. Hire him, you won't be disappointed and I am relatively picky...

Doug and Cory arrived on time and completed the job efficiently.  The porch lights look great.  Doug has been your handyman for years and has always done a great job.
