"My basement had wall crack steps, horizontal cracks, bowing issues along with moisture issues. Water would come in the basement regularly. Everything was taken care of by RENEW about 6-7 years ago. They replaced some of the foundation bricks, installed a drainage system, placed reinforcement rods along the walls and installed a sump pump. RENEW also helped me with additional request as the project progressed (removing personal items, etc). On the exterior they added and pitched dirt along with placing decorative rocks. I’m writing this 6-7 years later so I’m sure I’ve left a few things out. Since having the work done, my basement has been dry. THERE IS NO WATER/MOISTURE PROBLEMS AT ALL! RENEW is a family business that takes pride in their work. They are dependable, personable, reasonable with cost and most of all knowledgeable. Most reviews are done relatively close to when the work is performed. My review is years later which should tell anyone reading this, they do excellent work at a reasonable price."

"In 2014 we replaced 18 windows and were very happy with the windows and service from Weather Tight. At the time we did not replace 6 windows in the rear. The rear doesn't get hit with the sun and weathered better than other areas. Last fall we noticed some rot on the cedar siding below a picture window. Decided it was time to call Weather Tight. Once again Weather Tight exceeded our expectations. Ryan, our sales rep, made sure the windows would match the ones installed 9 years earlier and clearly explained to process and scheduled an installation date to accommodate us. The water damage below the window was much worse than expected. Chris S, Chris C, and Josh did an amazing job replacing all the damaged wood. We built our home 29 years ago. Our contract appeared to state that the O.S.B. would be covered with building paper or felt. IT WAS NOT. That is what caused the water damage. Weather Tight caulked, foamed and covered the new O.S.B. with Tyvek Home Wrap, and replaced the cedar shingles. They also did an exceptional job installing our new replacement windows. They look amazing inside and out. We highly recommend Weather Tight. The people and product are extraordinary."

"We had a small leak that only happened in severe rainstorms. Instead of diagnosing this problem the salesperson wa ted to sell us their complete system. They painted a picture of a poorly constructed basement with many problems. We resisted but finally agreed this was s mistake, because the only problem found after tearing up our basement was a dead sump pump and maybe extra weep holes could have been put in the crock. The original basement drainage system was correctly installed to code. Now our perfect basement floor has permanent scars and we are still fighting the concrete dust leftover from the project. The workers also damaged our vinyl siding and stained it with some type of solvent when cleaning areas that were marred during work. They are probably solve severe basement problems, but we were definitely “oversold”. We made a regrettable error in trusting their expertise."

"The senior project specialist was Jimmy. He did a great job of keeping us informed at all stages of the project (interior drain tile installation). Nanod was the plumber who did the final installation of the sump pump set-up and discharge configuration. Nanod did an outstanding job on the route of the discharge piping , having assessed that the originally considered discharge configuration might have adversely affected our neighbor."

"My wife and I recently relocated from another state and had some extra money to invest in our new home, so we decided to partially finish our basement. While searching Google for basement remodeling services, we found two options. One was a company specializing solely in basement remodeling, but after scheduling a consultation, I quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit—every little detail came with an added cost, and there were too many unexpected “oh, by the way” expenses. Around the same time, we reached out to American Home Remodeling while gathering quotes. Nick met me at the house, and I walked him through the space, explained our vision, and shared our budget. From the start, he was straightforward and even suggested a few alternative approaches that, while slightly increasing our upfront cost, would ultimately save us time, money, and maximize the space. After reviewing their proposal, we signed a contract and moved forward with the project. Permits were approved faster than expected, and construction began just before Thanksgiving. Since we were hosting family for the holiday, Scott and Nick were thoughtful enough to coordinate the dumpster’s arrival so it wouldn’t be an eyesore for our guests. Once the holiday passed, work resumed seamlessly. The project progressed smoothly—plumbing was completed on time, followed by framing, electrical, drywall/paint, flooring, and carpentry. Every contractor assigned to the job was professional, punctual, and knowledgeable, always available to answer my questions if Scott or Nick weren’t present. I was never left wondering what if—a few times, I had ideas mid-project, and Nick always provided his professional opinion before executing them flawlessly. The entire project lasted about three months, though it likely would have been completed sooner if not for the holiday season. Regardless, everything was strategically planned and executed on time. From a financial standpoint, the payment structure was transparent, with a clear breakdown of what percentage was due and when, based on project milestones. Scott would send a simple notification when a payment was due, but work continued without delay—even before payments were received. There was never any pressure, just a well-managed and trustworthy process. Fortunately, we had the funds and stayed on schedule with our payments. Prior to the basement project, we had already taken on a few other home improvements, including painting the interior and closing off a wall to add closet space. We hired another company for that work, but in hindsight, I wish we had discovered American Home Remodeling sooner to handle those projects as well. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with American Home Remodeling. Their professionalism, organization, and expertise made this project stress-free, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommend!"
