After meeting with Sales Rep Ryan Latko and finding out that Mad City Home Improvement had a lifetime, transferable non-prorated all-inclusive warranty, I gladly picked out all the items I would need for my shower and said to get me on the schedule for my install. One was a company specializing solely in basement remodeling, but after scheduling a consultation, I quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit—every little detail came with an added cost, and there were too many unexpected “oh, by the way” expenses. Around the same time, we reached out to American Home Remodeling while gathering quotes. Nick met me at the house, and I walked him through the space, explained our vision, and shared our budget. From the start, he was straightforward and even suggested a few alternative approaches that, while slightly increasing our upfront cost, would ultimately save us time, money, and maximize the space. The entire project lasted about three months, though it likely would have been completed sooner if not for the holiday season. Regardless, everything was strategically planned and executed on time. From a financial standpoint, the payment structure was transparent, with a clear breakdown of what percentage was due and when, based on project milestones. Scott would send a simple notification when a payment was due, but work continued without delay—even before payments were received. There was never any pressure, just a well-managed and trustworthy process. Fortunately, we had the funds and stayed on schedule with our payments. Prior to the basement project, we had already taken on a few other home improvements, including painting the interior and closing off a wall to add closet space. We hired another company for that work, but in hindsight, I wish we had discovered American Home Remodeling sooner to handle those projects as well. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with American Home Remodeling. Their professionalism, organization, and expertise made this project stress-free, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We had concerns about the structure of our interior sunporch which Michael agreed to give an estimate separately (once he opened up the flooring).
