Kraus Snowplows and Equipment was founded in 1978 by Tom Kraus. The primary business at that time was selling Patz Equipment. We have installed and serviced farm equipment ever since that time. We have expanded our offerings to Agromatic, Berg and Kraiburg farm products as time progressed. In 1997, we purchased a snowplow business and provide full sales, service and parts for Boss, Hiniker, Kage, Meyer, Western & Saltdogg snowplows and salters. In 2000, we began pouring concrete as a concrete contractor. We pour flat-work and walls for all agricultural, commercial and residential customers. Since the business has expanded, we now employ 10 people and have built a new shop and storage area in 2009.

For snow removal I offer discounted rates if signed before October 25th. I have anywhere between a 4-10 person crew depending on the job. Billing depends on the type of job, whether materials need to be purchased or if it's hourly.

Most of the time, you or your contractor will spray the concrete form and framework with a release agent or oil to prevent sticking. This is common practice with wood and steel forms. For insulated concrete forms, the styrofoam formwork often remains in place after construction, so you don’t need to treat it beforehand. Wet grinding requires a big volume of water, a way to collect the slurry created by the water and dust, and an environmentally-safe place to dispose of the slurry.
