"we're sorry we could not meet the customers needs. Our advertisement was for junk removal which is typically people's clutter furniture or sometimes items from a remodeling project. This was huge piles of stone and gravel and dirt. Besides the fact that I estimate it would take a minimum 3 trips in my pickup truck and trailer. This is very heavy material. Since I don't have a need for these materials I would need to pay to dump the material and since it's such a heavy material it woul be very costly. Possibly close to 1/2 of what the $800 charge is. That's not to even mention the labor to shovel several tons of material in Our truck and trailer. I had even called another company who has a skid steer and dump truck since they can do a job like that much more efficiently and they wanted $750. I wish [Member Name Removed] luck in her project as the contractor who left that stuff there put her in a bad spot & can understand her frustration, but taking it out on me because she misunderstood the services we provide I think was quite unfair. She claims she only paid $800 for the culvert repair. That's what you get for such a cheap price. The repair was done. And that contractor " who she said is already out of business" leaves her with a mess from all the asphalt, dirt and gravel. But that wasn't enough they dumped a truckload of stone on her driveway and grass that wasn't needed for the job and expects someone else to clean it up real cheap."
"Thank you for your business."
"When someone gives us a bad review I usually am apologetic that we didn't fit their needs. However that story about the guy going through their mail box and driving away was likely not one of our guys. No one on the sealcoating crew drives a Ford pickup. Although [Member Name Removed] may have mistaken a Ford pickup for another brand of pickup that my forman does drive. In addition [Member Name Removed] forgot to mention that we redid the patch and cleaned up any tar on the brick even though the vast majority of it was very old sealcoat. I did agree that the original cold patch could have been done better, but no reason we should have had to clean up old sealcoat that had been on his brick for years, but my foreman agreed to. I'm not sure if this review was posted before or after we can back to "fix things" I do agree with his statement "You can probably use them and be fine" and thank him for telling the truth. "We're sorry for the error in sending the homeowner an invoice. The paperwork was marked incorrectly. Late September is an extremely busy time for us and sometimes unintentional mistakes like that happen. As the homeowner indicated we left him a message that would would be coming to do the work and don't recall getting a call that the work was completed. Either way he never paid us anything so there is no reason for him to be upset."
