Roaches may not be quite as common on the top floors of a home, but they can easily climb up there if they want to. Follow this up with a generous sprinkle of salt all over the mattress, and let it sit overnight. Finally, vacuum the mattress to clean up the salt, dead fleas, and flea offspring.

False chinch bugs are generally smaller and somewhat paler than true chinch bugs, although they otherwise look similar.
